Our Group Physical Training range can be used in conjunction with our range of individual fitness trail items to enhance a courses potential and are a popular option within Military Training and Defence Authorities.

Whether you require the ability to exercise a full platoon of up to 30 individuals, or smaller groups at individual stations, FLP have the capability of providing a solution for your group training needs.

If you have the need to exercise a large group of personnel then please contact FLP and we will be happy to see how our equipment can meet with these needs.

To complement our range of traditional timber fitness products FLP are proud to offer the newly designed Fitness Legacy Zone (FLZ) range of dynamic outdoor steel fitness products.

Bringing the fitness experience to a whole new level, the FLZ range is suitable for teens from 14 years right up to adult beginners and primed athletes alike. Improve balance and coordination, strength and flexibility in a dedicated outdoor space where you can encourage new pursuits and adapt existing ones.

The Fitness Legacy Zone range is offered in colour schemes Yellow and Black or Green and Cream, but can be specified to suit varying colour combinations and design layouts.

Each product carries a QR code which can be scanned to reveal action footage via. You Tube giving you guidance on the correct use of the equipment.

All FLZ products are fully certified to DIN 79000 on which the European Standard is being based, and thereafter, when EN16630 is introduced as the full UK standard with a conformance guarantee.

WetpourIn situ safety surface; Wetpour, is designed to produce a continuous surface under and around equipment without joints. The materials are mixed on site by our specialist installers to produce a durable, virtually maintenance free safety surface. • Two layer system to produce a

hardwearing surface 20mm thick

• Base layer produced from recycled natural rubber granules and high quality polyurethane binder to produce a resilient impact-absorbing cushion between the top layer and sub-base materials

SAFALOGNature’s alternative to splitting timbers for the leisure industry

EnvironmentalSafalog is manufactured from European Redwood sourced only from managed forests. By using timber from managed resources we can be assured that the forest operations are structured and managed so as to be sufficiently profitable, without generating financial profit at the expense of the forest resources, the eco system or affected communities.

The tension between the need to generate adequate financial returns and the principles of responsible forest operations can be reduced through the efforts to market forest products for their best value. The use of certified timber also ensures that both local people and society at large enjoy long-term benefits, provide strong incentives to local people to sustain the forest resources and adhere to long-term management plans.

Laminated SafalogSafalog is an extra strong, long timber beam manufactured from laminated timber. It is composed of sheets of timber bonded together with weatherproof polyurethane adhesives. As a result of the design, timber selection and manufacturing process Safalog can withstand widely variable climatic changes unlike machine turned round log timbers. Laminated Safalog is a high quality and structurally stable material.

TreatmentLaminated Safalog uses heartwood, which is over 70% of the whole volume of the tree. The heartwood is highly durable which when combined with ACQ (an arsenic and chrome free preservative) provides a timber product which will give long life expectancy with very little maintenance.

RecyclingRecycling is the best way to dispose of any of the product providing it does not place any stress on the environment and should not be more expensive than the new product. At the end of its intended life service all Safalog components can be composted subject to local legislative restrictions.

SMATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS

Safalog Laminated timber sections are produced according to EN386:2001 from European Redwood

which produces an extremely smooth, high

quality machined finish in 125mm and 112mm square sections. Glued joints produced in Safalog are even stronger than the timber itself. Strict quality control ensures consistency through continual tests during production process.

Following the final stage of machining, all timber is pressure treated in accordance with EN 351-1 and EN 335-2 with ACQ treatment process, being Chromium and Arsenic free in accordance with latest EU directive. As a result of widely variable weather conditions, small shakes may appear on the laminated wood however this does not reduce its durability in any way.

All pressure treated timber is covered by a 15 year guarantee against structural failure caused by rot or infestation.

All nuts and bolts on our products are shielded with nut covers, which protect against sharp edges and prevent

unauthorised persons from attempting to

dismantle the products.

All nets, bridges and ladders are manufactured in-house from vandal resistant multi-filament

polypropylene (MFP) steel cored rope. End

terminals are hydraulically pressed steel ferrules with stainless steel bolts. Net joints and rope ladder rungs are moulded from heavy-duty solid colour polyethylene.

All fittings are designed with rounded edges and after fabrication the fittings are either hot dip galvanized or shot blasted, primed with a

corrosion inhibiting zinc based epoxy primer in-house

and powder coated to give a tough durable finish.

Bolts are manufactured from sheradized, high tensile steel or stainless steel for high stress applications. All

standard nuts and bolts are concealed by our custom

made, durable plastic caps. The caps give a tamper resistant and smooth fixing point. Security bolts and heavy-duty security coach screws are from stainless steel.

Hand holds, foot rests and connecting brackets are manufactured from nylon. This material

is impact-proof in a temperature range from

–40°C to +110°C.

Anodized aluminium tags with all required information in accordance with EN 1176 are fixed to each

piece of equipment before despatch. The product

reference and year of supply are pressed into the surface of each tag to ensure the required information is still in place for years to come.

All sales and design services are offered to our customers completely free of charge (with the possible exception of special projects).

Design Working from sketches, architects plans or sales surveys our design office will turn your requirements into reality. With years of experience we will optimise your chosen elements and produce 3 dimensional plans from A4 to A1 for presentation. Working closely with our clients we will revise and fine tune any element of your project until you are completely satisfied with the proposal.

Manufacture All our customers are welcomed and encouraged to visit our factory in Cambridgeshire. Visitors will see how quality materials are selected, processed and manufactured into components forming your new fitness equipment.

Installation Fitness equipment is only as safe as its installation which is why we offer a fully trained nationwide installation service specialising in all aspects from demolition, ground works, installation and surfacing. If however, you decide to install your own equipment you will find all our products are supported by comprehensive installation details, parts lists and all the fixings you will need to complete your project.

Inspection Post installation inspections of equipment can be independently inspected if required. We also offer periodic inspection services weekly, operational and annual inspections. All inspections are carried out by engineers who check the entire equipment and submit a written report with any recommendations for remedial work or long term planned maintenance.

Spare Parts Replacement parts and accessories are available from our huge stock, which includes protection caps, nets, ropes and chains, through to grass mats and wetpour repair kits. Our dedicated maintenance department is always on call to carry out planned maintenance or urgent repairs, alternatively parts can be despatched via carrier for the customer to fit.
