The ocean in FocusFókus, the association of amateur photographers, puts on an ocean themed photography exhibition.

From the Sea to the MarketPhotographer Kristinn Benedikts-son exhibits photographs recording the process by which fish goes from being caught in Icelandic waters to being sold in global markets.

Fishermen’s photography competi-tionThe photographs give insight into the world and mind of the sailor.

lúkas kárason - woodcarvingsLúkas Kárason exhibits his works made of driftwood that washed up on Strandir, where he grew up.

The coast guard vessel ÓðinnThe Coast Guard vessel will be open to the public and cheerful sailors welcome guests and tell them about their time onboard.

Faroese vessel westward ho sails to reykjavikPeople are welcome aboard to have a look at this lovely smack, built in Grimsby in 1884.
