*. A tiny country in West Africa with a population of just 3 million; . Have all the raw materials ingredients of success story, including water resources, 40% of West Africa tropical rain forest, good soil for agriculture and forestry, diamonds, gold, a leading maritime nation in the world and the recent discovery of oil in the country In spite of these, Liberia remains one of the worlds poorest nations: Eight of ten Liberians live on less than one Euro a day.

Added to this, the country is heavily depended on international assistance and food inputs . Also, the country is treading on a dangerous path:

*Most of the youths are not interested in learning agriculture and forestry activities that could sustain food security, nutrition and sustainable forest management. They are now chasing so called quick money making activities: riding bikes, digging gold and diamonds, or just living in the cities and doing nothing***change the photo with a farmer photo**Before coming to Rome, FFF along with FUN conducted 4 days of consultative mapping in Grand Cape Mount County in 4 Districts
