Eachofthe16channelsontheAnnunciatorhastwoLEDstodisplaystatusandalarmsignalsdirectlyfromthePowerWizard2.1ControlPanelonthegeneratorset.Thepre-setchannelslinkedtoeachLEDdisplaycanbeindividuallyconfiguredusingtheElectronicServiceTool(EST).ThisallowsOperatorstomonitordifferentgeneratorsetstatusandalarmsignalstosuitsite-specificrequirements.InadditiontotheLEDdisplay,theAnnunciatorincludesanaudiblealarm,analarmacknowledgepushbuttonandalamptestpushbutton.

The FG Wilson Communications Interface Module andSoftwarePackageallowsoperatorstomonitorandcontrolallgeneratorsetfunctionsfromavirtualcontrolpanelontheirPC.

Dependingontheoperator’sdistancefromthegeneratorset and the type of connection available to link to thegenerator set, two options are offered:

• Fordistancesupto1,000metres,whereitisconvenienttohaveahard-wiredconnection,ageneratorsetcanbe monitored using the Communications InterfaceModuleandSoftwarePackageontheoperator’sPCor laptop.

• Alternatively, when laying a hard-wired connectionis not convenient, the samemonitoring and controlfunctionalityisavailable,butcommunicationbetweentheoperator’sPCorlaptopandtheControlPanelismadethroughamodemandthetelephonenetwork.Dependingontheoperator’sdistancefromthegeneratorsetandthetypeofconnectionavailabletolinktothe generator set, two options are offered:
