Diana Taylor and Mike Corbat launch the Forum with a discussion of the trends,commitments and incentives that put full financial inclusion by 2020 within our reach. Theensuing panel discussion will focus on new markets for financial services, with an emphasison insurance.

Panelists will then reflect on ways to understand and design forthe needs of new customers.

Cherie Blair discusses why financial inclusion matters and presents highlights from theRoadmap, with live polling of the audience on the priorities, impacts and challenges of theRoadmap principles. A panel of private and public sector experts then considers how theserecommendations relate to initiatives by the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion,the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, the World Economic Forum, and others.

Balancing Access & Protection: Lessons Learned from Peru
Peru is widely recognized as a leader in financial inclusion, with policymakers and providers
actively innovating to implement financial inclusion. This plenary session will apply theFI2020 Roadmap principles to Peruvian financial inclusion efforts to date and identify bothchallenges and success on the ground. Thought leaders from the public and private sectorsfocus on ways to increase access for all and on value for customers.
