11:00—12:00 Visit in the world famous New Synagogue, an outstanding Art Nouveau building. http://www.zsinagoga.szeged.hu/en/index.php?menupont=syn

12:15 After checking into the Tisza Sport Hotel we can start the sight-seeing tour, guided by Professor György Szönyi.

During the sightseeing lunch break. Options: from rucksack, or in the nearby McDonald’s or Burger King. Be advised that Oct 23 is a national holiday, so all shops are closed.

Afternoon: Guided tour in the museum of the Franciscan monastery and the Gothic-Baroque Franciscan church. 18:00 Travel back to Szeged.

09:00 Departure for Hódmezővásárhely (a mid-size historical town nearby Szeged).
