Please pray for the seminarians of our Diocese
May the Lord continue to bless our Diocese with an abundance of seminarians!
Mount Angel Seminary: Shannon Augare. St. John Vianney Seminary, Denver: Matthew Christiaens, Tyler
Frohlich, and our newly ordained Deacon Ned Sciedecker.
Featured CD: ANGELS EXPLAINED What You Should Know About the Nine Choirs Dr. Mark Miravalle - Professor of Theology and Mariology at Franciscan University of Steuben-ville - teaches on the fascinating subject of Angels. Why did God create angels? How are they differ-ent from humans? Are guardian angels found in Scripture? Discover the answer to these ques-
tions and many more as Dr. Mark Miravalle explains the nine choirs of angels, their differing roles and hierarchical order, and how much angels can help us if we only ask.
Host Families Needed!
Loyola Sacred Heart High School is blessed to have the opportunity to include international students as part of our student body. Part of this experience includes the need for host families. We have already had a request for families to host for the 2018-19 school year. If this is something you think you might be interested in, please contact Kathy Schneider, Principal at [email protected] for more information on this wonderful opportunity.
PRAYER FOR A NEW BISHOP O great St. Helena, patroness of our diocese, who for love of Our Lord made pilgrimage to the Holy Land to mark the sites of His Pascal Mystery, grant, I pray, that you would inter-cede to the Father on behalf of our Diocesan Church as we await the appointment of our next bishop. Grant that we will be sent a
spiritual shepherd after the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd who laid down his life for us, His sheep. Pray to God that we will be given a bishop who is faithful and just, holy and wise, loving and zealous. May he be completely devoted to the Lord and to the service of the people entrusted to his care, so that the Diocese of Helena may experience a springtime of growth in holiness and the number of souls drawn to the Lord through His Church. Amen
