At Home Physical Education Activities 4-5

Hi guys and girls! I miss you very much and hope you are all doing well! In this packet you will find many activities that you can do at home by yourself or with your families. Everyone knows how important physical activity is...for our bodies and our minds! I would love to hear about the things you have been doing since we have been away from school, and hear what you think about some of the activities in this packet. If you have any questions or comments about any of the activities, or just want to check in and say hi, you can email me at [email protected]. Below you will find a list of items that can be used to replace equipment that you might not have at home. Feel free to do any or all of the activities in this packet as many times as you wish, in any order. I included 2 activities per week. Please don’t limit your activity to what’s in this packet...go outside and play, ride your bike, ride your scooter, jump on your trampoline, play frisbee with someone in your family, do exercises during tv commercials, walk or play with your dog. But most of all, be safe! ____________________________________________________________________________ Start each activity with a short warm-up.

Run in Place – 30 seconds two times. Walking Knee Hugs – 30 seconds, with each step, raise one leg, hug it with both arms, pulling your knee towards your belly or chest. Arm Circles – 30 seconds, make big circles with your arms two times. Frog Jumps – 10 seconds, squat down and explode up. Modified or Regular Push-Ups – If you’re doing modified or regular push-ups, do the number of your age. If you really want a challenge, do as many as you can. Sit-Ups – 30 seconds
