For the second year in a row, all the FIM Europe Trial Championships kicks off the season in beautiful Pietramurata in the Italian mountains, just north of lake Garda. MC del Garda organised an excellent event last year, and we suspect they will do even better this year. Don’t miss it! Treat yourself to a fantastic sporting weekend. The venue has a good paddock, a hotel with a good Italian restaurant.

For the second and third round of the European Championship 2015, we move back to the birth area of International Women’s Trial Championships. Trial Journalist Mario Candelone (phototrial.it) organised the very first Women’s European Cup in Vandalino in 1999, just a few km away from Luserna San Giovanni. Mr. Candelone and the club will once again welcome us back, this time with a two days event for the men. With the enthusiasm and experience of this organiser, we can guarantee you a fantastic weekend with good section and breathtaking scenery. Don’t miss it!

We are aware of the fact that most of our riders are amateurs without financial support. Thus we have reduced the costs of following the whole season by creating a

calendar with only 3 or 4 events and as few travels as possible.

All European Championship events are on “closed circuits” with no public roads. You don’t need a driver’s licence or a registered bike.

All riders can ride the bike they prefer from the day they turn 16 years. No capacity limit applies. But riders in the youth categories are still restricted to max 125 cc.

All riders takes points for the overall standings in Championship and Cup classes.. The more events you attend, the higher up you will be at the end of the season.

We have classes and sections for everybody - boys and girls, experts and beginners. If you are 12 or 62 - we have a place for you!

You ride for your country - even if it’s an individual competition. All points you take in the standings are added to your country in a new Ranking of Trial Nations.

13 of the 16 European riders classified in the 2014 World Pro have one or more European titles in youth, Junior and the Championship. All tree winners of the Women’s World Championship started as European Champions. EC is a necessary step stone

also for you!

The FIM Europe Trial Commission consists of seven dedicated volunteers. We promise to push hard along the lines

of our philosophy to improve our Championships in the years to come. Contrary to the general trend in our sport,

the participation in the European Championships has increased by 20% over the last 2 seasons. As a Continental

Union under the FIM umbrella, we are not totally free to make all choices ourselves. But we are determined to

keep the Championships as simple and accessible to everybody

as possible without compromising fair play, a social ambience and the

sporting quality. Please feel free to get in touch with ideas and opinions.

We will need both inspiration and corrections from our stakeholders.
