1. TheSeries

TheArtisticSwimmingWorldSeriesaimstobeanannuallystagedelite levelcompetitionwiththe

participationofinternationalswimmersfromallaroundtheworld.

TheFINAArtisticSwimmingWorldSeriesisaimedatthebestArtisticSwimmingSolos,Duets,Teams,

MixedDuets,HighlightsandCombinationsintheWorld.

TheWorldSerieswillbeconductedaccordingtotheFINARulesaspertheFINAHandbook2017-2021.

AllfacilitiesshallbeincompliancewiththerelevantFINARules.

2. Promotion

InordertomaximizethepromotionoftheFINAArtisticSwimmingWorldSeries,FINAandtheWS

event organisers will collaborate in social media. This is where we can reach the fans who are

passionateaboutArtisticSwimming.

FINAwillnaturallyassistinpromotingeachoftheWSeventsthroughitsownpromotionalchannels:

website, social media, press releases, reports in the FINA Aquatics World magazine and FINA’s

monthlyTVshow,etc.

Inaddition,insteadofjustpromotingitsownevent,eacheventorganiseralsohelpstopromotethe

otherWSevents,withtheresultthattogetherwereachalargeraudience.Unityisstrength!

EachWSeventshouldtherefore:

• IdentifyitswebsiteURLandsocialmediaplatforms(Facebook,Twitter,YouTubeetc.)toFINA

(who will share with all the WS events) - e.g. Argentina Synchro Open -

• Beactiveonsocialmedia(thisiswheretheAScommunityandfanbasecanmosteasilybe

reached),meaningpre-eventpromotion,andduringtheevent,newsupdates+pics+video

clips

• Identifythattheevent ispartoftheWS-useoftheWSlogo,WShashtags,etc.wherever

possible.

• Follow/likethesocialmediapostsoftheotherWSevents,andtosharethesocialmediaposts

ofotherWSevents.

• UsethecommonWShashtagsandbasicArtisticSwimminghashtagsinallWSeventposts,in

additiontoanyeventspecifichashtagtheeventorganiseruses.

• Please kindly note that the logo of the event can be found on FINA's Brand Guidelines

platform:http://www.fina-brand.com/download/fina-events.Thelayoutforthetwoboards

willalsoshortlybeavailableontheplatform.Pleasecontactusshouldyouhaveanydifficulties

inaccessingthematerial.

3. Broadcasting&LiveStreamingBroadcasting:

• Allun-editedHDvideofootageofeachcompetitionmustbemadeavailabletoFINAassoon

aspossibleaftertheevent.FINAwillusethisinitsownandthirdpartyplatforms(including

butnotlimitedtoFINAMagazine,FINATV,andsocialmediaplatforms,OlympicChannel)to

helppromotethesportandraiseitsprofile.

• FINAwillprovide theexpenses forone (1) camera forFederations that cannotaffordHost

Broadcastingservices,inordertoprovideasignalfortheFINATVChannel.

Livestreamingrequirements:

• EveryFederationmustprovideFINAwithcontactdetailsofthepersoninchargeofstreaming

thecompetitionatleastonemonthinadvance.

4. Entries&Scoring

Entries:

• EveryNationalFederationcompetingintheWorldSeriesisrequestedtoidentifyitsnational

solo,duet,mixedduetandteamsothattheymaybeeasilyrecognizableintherankingsofthe

competitions,independentlyoftheextraswimmersenteredbytheirFederation.TheNational

Federationsmayenterdifferentathletesinthesolo,duet,mixedduetandteameventsofthe

variouslegsoftheSeriestheywishtotakepartin.

• Followingtheentries’deadline,FINAmustreceivealistofalldefinitiveentriesbyevent.They

aretobesentto: results@fina.org

press@fina.org

Scoring:

AproposalwillshortlybemadebytheFINATASCtoestablishaFINAbrandedscoringsystem.More

informationwillbesenttotheOrganisersoncethisisimplemented.

PleasekindlynotethatFINARules(includingjudging)mustbeimplementedateverycompetitionpart

oftheSeries.

TobeconsideredforjudgingataFINAcompetition,ajudgemusthavesuccessfullypassedtheJudges

ExamadministeredataFINAArtisticSwimmingJudgesCertificationSchool.Thelistofjudgesforeach

competitionshouldbesentinadvancetoFINA.

PracticejudgesareacceptedatalleventsoftheSeries,maximumonejudgeperFederation.

5. Results&AwardsResults:

ItisveryimportantforFINAtoreceivetheresultsassoonaspossibleaftereachsession.Thereisa

dedicatedemailaddresstoreceiveresultsfromallFINAcompetitions:

Thepreferredformattoreceivetheresultsis:PDFandXML.TheXMLResultsDefinitionguideisbeing

updatedandwillbeavailableshortly.

Inadditiontothis,thenamesofthejudgesmustappearoneachresultsheet.

Theelectronicformatallowsustoinputallresultsrapidlyinourdatabase.ThePDFfilescanbeposted

toourwebsite,addingtothevalueandexposureofeachevent.

Awards:

Awardceremoniesshouldbeheldaftereachsession,orattheendofeachday.

Gala:

Agalamaybeheldattheendofeverycompetition.

FINA covers these persons’ expenses, the OC is kindly required to make arrangements for

accommodation,localtransportationandaccreditation.

The OC is required to work with our Press delegate/correspondent and allow him/her access to

information,resultsandphotos.
