Publication Details

Technology and sciences are integral part of the society and many

areas of humanities and social sciences are indispensable to the

scientist and technologist. The interrelationship of technology,

science and humanities is bound to be replicated in the social

framework. Therefore, the relation among Science, Technology,

Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Humanities and Social

Sciences (HSS) is quite necessary for holistic development of

students. To create a new developed nation, there is a need to

inculcate all essential skills among the researchers and

technocrats. In addition to this, a habit of lifelong learning and an

ecosystem for research and its implementation is necessitated for

development of the nation. In the wake of recent developments and

new demands, it is crucial for us to embark on research activities

having relevance to national needs. TCET has always played a

leading role in envisioning the requirements of tomorrow. The

Conference on Humanities, Science and Technical Education 2019

(CHSTE) is one such avenue to ponder over the recent

developments and create a knowledge base to solve the challenges

of 21st century.

The conference aims at bringing together representatives from

diverse areas of knowledge and �ields such as education, research,

public institutions and organizations to present their innovative

ideas on the interrelation between humanities, science and

technical education in the 21st Century. The main objective of

CHSTE 2019 is to open a worldwide debate on the current

developments in humanities and sciences and their interrelations

with technical education. Therefore, a wide range of topics will be

covered in CHSTE 2019 ranging from Technical Education to STEM

and HSS studies. The conference attempts to bring together the

experience of these varied yet related �ields of knowledge with the

hope that this con�luence will contribute to mutual growth.
