Electives Students select coursework based upon the student's area of research interest and need.

The research seminar is deisgned to direct and guide students in advanced theologicalresearch in preparation for writing a thesis. Students will be engaged in dialogue andcritiques of each other's work in order to enhance understanding of theological researchand writing.

Foreign Language ReadingProficiency

6 CreditsForeign language sources and quotations from at least one foreign language must beused in the thesis.

Students must have a strong reading proficiency in a foreign language - modern or classical,any language with substantial theological lituerature are accepted. Language readingproficiency must be demonstrated by the end of the program.
