Dear Hiring Manager, My name is Bethany Bates and I am currently seeking a new position as a registered dental hygienist. I am a recent graduate of Fones School of Dental Hygiene, class of 2015, with an anticipated bachelors degree in dental hygiene (complete in fall of 2015). Being a new graduate leaves me with few previous employment occasions but I am anxious to progress in the field. I come from a highly accredited school were I have successfully completed two years of clinical practice with patient contact. I am certified in administration of local anesthetic, CPR, and the use of AED machine. I am compliant in procedures such as oral prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, placement of sealants and fluoride application, taking digital and film radiographs, and utilization of computer and paper charting. I have experience with patients ranging from children and adolescents up to geriatric patients. I have also gained experience through an internship I completed at Norwalk Hospital’s dental hygiene clinic. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skills in my career through a position in your office.
