Sunday, May 7, 2017: Day 2 - Ostuni & Alberobello

8:00- 9:00 am: Breakfast at hotel restaurant 9:00 am: Departure for Alberobello 9:45 am: Private guided walking tour of Alberobello, a small fairytale village known for its cone-shaped buildings called trulli, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. The tour will include visit to the Trullo Sovrano and the unique trullo church.

11:45 am: Time at leisure for shopping and lunch 1:30 pm: Depart for the olive oil mill 2:00 - 3:00 pm: Olive oil mill visit and olive oil tasting - return to Ostuni 3:30 pm: Private guided walking tour of Ostuni. 8:00 - 9:00 am: Breakfast at hotel restaurant 9:30 am: Meet with the chef and sous chef at the local market where ingredients for lunch will be purchased. You will enjoy a full morning of learning creative and useful tips for your daily cooking practice, as well as how to make simple and delicious local specialties 12:30 pm: Lunch prepared by the group 1:30 -2:30 pm: Daily dialogue with Letizia 3:00 pm: Private guided walking tour of Lecce, one the most beautiful historic cities of southern Italy. Lecce, known as the “Florence of the South,” is also famous for having some of the best examples of Baroque architecture in Italy. The tour will include the Roman Amphitheater, the Basilica of S. Croce, and the richly decorated Cathedral 5:30 pm: Time at leisure for shopping 7:00 pm: Dinner at local restaurant Overnight

Wednesday, May 10, 2017: Day 5 - Otranto

8:00 - 9:00 am: Breakfast at hotel restaurant - hotel check-out 9:00 am: Depart for Uggiano La Chiesa and Fondazione Le Costantine 10:00 am: Arrive at Fondazione Le Costantine, where you will visit the traditional weaving workshop and experience a demonstration from the skilled artisans.

11:30 am: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Foundation Restaurant 1:00 pm: Transfer to Otranto, one of Puglia's nicest seaside resorts. A quaint small village with picture-perfect blue waters and white buildings - check-in at your four-star hotel 2:30 pm: Walking tour of Otranto’s charming historical center. The tour will include a visit to the 11th century Norman Romanesque Cathedral, with the best preserved mosaic floors in southern Italy, and the byzantine church of San Pietro with some magnificent frescos dating from the X and XV centuries. You will see the imposing Castello Aragonese from the outside, and from there you will enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Adriatic coast. 4:30 – 5:30 pm: Gelato & refreshments, dialogue with Letizia 5:30 – 8:00 pm: Free time for shopping and dinner at leisure Overnight

Thursday, May 11, 2017: Day 6 - Ionian Coast
