She went over to her neighbor’s house to get some friends that she could

“Lolly is missing!” Molly cried as her neighbors opened the door.

“We promise that we will help you find her!” Tara and Sara agreed to go

Molly, Tara, and Sara went into the yard and decided to make a plan.

They were going to split up so they could cover more land.

The plan was simple. Molly would look for Lolly in the trees.

But she only found two things; an acorn and someone’s keys.

Tara was going to look for Lolly in their playground.

However, she got so caught up having fun on the slide, she forgot to look

around.

Sara was looking in the flowerbed.

Aside from the flowers, she found a piece of white thread.

“White thread?” Sara wondered. But then she realized what she found.

She called everyone over so they could all have a look around.

“Lolly has to be here somewhere, the thread belongs to her!” Molly told

them.

Just then Sara felt something soft when she reached beside a flower stem.

“But who could of done this?” Tara asked as they started to go inside.

“I bet it was your older sister.” Sara replied.

After coming inside they found Sally sitting on the couch chair.

Sally smirked, “I thought it would take you longer then that but I really don’t

care.”

Just then their mom appeared.

“Are you two fighting again? This is just what I feared.”

Molly said to her mom, “Sally hid Lolly in the flowers by the fence.”

“I don’t know why she did it, it doesn’t make sense.”

Ms. Parker sat her girls down to have a conversation.

“Hiding and using each others stuff is not going to help solve this situation.”

Page 20

The sisters agreed to talk so their mom poured them some tea in a cup.

Sally agreed to never hide Lolly again and Molly promised not to use Sally’s

makeup.

After finishing the tea they gave each other a big hug. After all, they were

more than just sisters, they were each others best friend.
