withyourbacktothePostOffice.Turntoyourleftandheadalongtheroad(north)outofScorton,ignoringthelaneontheleft(StationLane)followasignforScortonPicnicSite.Approximately500moutsideScortonlookforafingerpostontheleftmarked‘WyreWay’.

2. SD50294930Takethefootpath,indicatedbythefingerpost,tocrossasmallstreamthenturnrightalongtheedgeofafieldbeforere-crossingthestreamatagate.Continuealongthispath,withastreamontheleft,tocrossabridgeandpastaderelictbarnandoverseveralstiles,untilitjoinsawidegraveltrack.
