This Award recognises a company that has successfully implemented a safety project for its fleet within the framework of its CSR strategy. It rewards a project that focuses on original tools and programmes to improve the safety of its drivers, whilst taking into account TCO optimisation. Despite the increase in its fleet size, PMI has managed to reduce the number of fleet injuries by 60% since 2012. An essential element in that reduction is the company's excellent communication with its 25,000+ drivers. The second prize in this category was for Patrik Havranek, Head of Fleet Management at ISS Facility Services. The Award was presented by Andrzej Sacha, Global Fleet Solutions Manager at Nestlé, who was last year's winner in this category. The Award went to Franz Fehlner, Head of International Fleet at Allianz. Mr. Fehlner received the Award from Martin Jahn, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Fleet International. Allianz has built up a successful green fleet strategy that is now growing into a true mobility approach, with recent initiatives promoting office sharing, teleworking, bike renting, car sharing and preferred public transport use. This year, the Award went to Alex Han, Strategic Buyer Fleet at ThyssenKrupp. The Award was presented by Adrian Porter, Director Fleet and Remarketing at Hyundai. The jury was impressed by the way Alex Han and his colleagues have integrated a complete fleet management system that is aligned with the preferences and goals of ThyssenKrupp’s fleet strategy, and that creates almost 100% transparency in terms of TCO components.
