ITB.

5. Manufacture should have minimum 10 installations in Government Institutions with minimum2

7. Manufacturer should have its own full- fledged corporate office along with service facility.
8. All units must be covered under standard warranty for a period of 24 months from the date of
installation.
9. The core operating endoscope like telescopes, single chip camera, light source, and other units

Specifications for Thermal Cycler
Fully functional thermal cycler with following features:
1. The system should have 96 well format with at least six separate peltier blocks to provide independent
temperature zones to run six different assays with different annealing temperature at the same time

Description of Technical Specifications
The Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tank shall be double walled cryogenic storage tank having
annular space insulated with high vacuum Multi-Layer Super Insulation (MLSI) with absorber
(vacuum getter) material for vacuum retention.
Design & Construction
i. Inner Vessel
Inner vessel shall be designed, fabricated, tested and inspected as per latest ASME Pressure Vessel
Code, Section VIII, Div. I with service temperature of –1960C suitable for storing cryogenic liquid.
Material of Construction: SS304
ii. Outer Vessel
The outer vessel or vacuum casing shall be designed as per CGA-341 code to withstand 15
psi g external pressure. Material of construction: Carbon steel of suitable grade
iii. Insulation
The annular space between inner vessel and outer vessel shall be insulated with Multilayer Super
Insulation (MLSI) and sealed under high vacuum of better than 5 Micron.
Suitable absorber material - Vacuum Getter shall be incorporated for vacuum retention.
iv. Piping
Suitable product piping shall be provided for product fill, product withdrawal and pressure
building with suitable relief devices and valves. The piping size shall be suitable and material of
construction for pipes shall be SS304. All valves shall be located at convenient height for easy
operation. All the Cryogenic Valves shall be of reputed make such as Herose/ Mack/
Rego/Bestobell.
v. Instrumentation
The tank shall be equipped with a pressure gauge and liquid level differential pressure gauge
of reputed make located at convenient height to read liquid level in the tank.
Safety
The Tank shall be provided with dual safety protection – 2 No. Safety Relief Valves and 1
No. Rupture Discs.
Cleaning
All wetted surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned for cryogenic service.
Painting
All the external surface of outer vessel shall be thoroughly cleaned and immediately primer
coated. Subsequently the surface shall be painted with two coats of Polyurethane (PU) paint as per
specified shade. The outer surface shall also have painted LOGO and other information as per the
statutory authority’s requirement.
Inspection & Testing
I. Vacuum Leak tightness of inner, outer vessels and all joints to be tested with Helium
Mass Spectrometer Leak Detection system.
II. Hydro-test as per code for Inner Vessel.
III. Static Evaporation Loss Rate test / cold spot test
Statutory Compliance
The tank shall be designed and manufactured in compliance with Static and Mobile Pressure
Vessel Rules (SMPV Rules) of Chief Controller of Explosives (CCOE), Nagpur.
Layout approval and CCOE License as required shall be arranged by supplier.
Installation and Commissioning
Installation, testing and commissioning of the complete system shall be the responsibility of the
supplier. For the evaporation loss rate test to be carried out at site after installation of the storage
tank and distribution header network, the supplier shall arrange required quantity of liquid
nitrogen. After successful completion of the testing, remaining quantity of the liquid nitrogen
inside the tank shall be handed over to the indenter along with the tank. Necessary civil
foundation, fencing with gate etc. shall be provided by supplier.
Training
Suitable training to the operating person/s for safe operation and maintenance of the tank
shall be arranged at plant/site by the supplier.
Documentation
All documentation as per SMPV Rules shall be provided by supplier. Operation and
Maintenance Manual shall be provided.
Warranty: 24 months from the date of commissioning.
