The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flood Warning for

The Ouachita River At Thatcher LD.

* from Thursday evening until further notice...Or until the warning

is cancelled.

* At 6:00 AM Saturday the water surface elevation was 77.6 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood elevation is 79.0 feet.

* Forecast...Rise above flood elevation by Thursday before midnight

and continue to rise to near 81.0 feet by next Saturday night.

* Impacts at 79.0 feet...Property in low lying areas needs to be

removed. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee

gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There

is minor flooding at this level.
