INSTRUCTIONS Have an adult help you use your marker to draw a circle in the middle of each of your plates and cut them out to make a frame. Take a square of the sticky back plastic and cut a circle a little bit bigger than the one you cut in your plate. Pull off the backing paper and stick your plate to it. Repeat this with each of the plates for your garland. You can make a pattern or create a bird or a butterfly using the flowers and leaves. When you’ve finished your design take another sheet of sticky back plastic and cut a circle the same size as the first one you made and then stick this over your design. You’ve now made a window! Paint the outside of your plates (optional) and let them dry. Your suncatcher is now ready for hanging. Punch a hole in the top of the plate and thread some ribbon or string through to make a loop. Or why not make a garland of plates and string them together? Hang the suncatchers in the window and watch them dance in the light. Have an adult help you use your marker to draw a circle in the middle of each of your plates and cut them out to make a frame.

Take a square of the sticky back plastic and cut a circle a little bit bigger than the one you cut in your plate. Pull off the backing paper and stick your plate to it. Repeat this with each of the plates for your garland.

You can make a pattern or create a bird or a butterfly using the flowers and leaves.

When you’ve finished your design take another sheet of sticky back plastic and cut a circle the same size as the first one you made and then stick this over your design.

You’ve now made a window!
