Annual foot checks4 • Take off shoes and socks at every doctor visit.
Daily self-inspection
2 • Look at and wash your feet every day. • Don’t use sharp objects to remove corns/calluses.• Use a mirror or ask for help if you can’t see your feet.
Comfortable shoes1 • Don’t go barefoot.• Wear breathable, non-plastic shoes.
Don’t wait
3 See your doctor immediately if: • A wound on your foot is not better in two weeks. • If you notice any other problems with your feet.
