Opening monologue

Queen of the Sea Narrator

sitting in shell throne in front of curtain

Monologue:

Earth special and unique

Only planet with an Ocean

The Ocean stretches across the planet and is inner-

connected. Oceans houses a diverse population of life.

Billions of plants and animals live in the Ocean from the

largest blue whale to the smallest of microscopic

plankton.

Life began in the Ocean, which is where our tale begins

Mish-Mash Fish

Mish –Mash Fish doesn’t look like the rest of the sea creatures.

One fin is pink, the other blue. He looks like he was made from many parts put together that don’t match.

He has a creation myth of how his Mom put him together will all the best parts that she could find.

For each external physical trait the other sea creatures have, Mish-Mash has a corresponding internal trait. Emphasizing such values as strength and compassion are more important than beauty or aggression.
