We think it’s Crazy For You to already be a senior. Eleanor Roosevelt said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Dream big, Allison! We believe in you. Thanks for the musical memories.

Crazy for You-nique Antiques & Architectural Salvage?
As a fourth grade student at Emmeline Cook, I went to see Oshkosh North’s 1997 production of Crazy For You. My oldest sister, Briar, was in the cast and I was fascinated with the entire show. I quickly became obsessed with songs like “Slap that Bass” and star-struck by the talents of the students in that production (including our current choreographer Anna Haley Allen). I have no doubt that seeing that production propelled me into a passion for musical theater, a love of all Gershwin music, and a loyalty to Oshkosh North. Twenty years later, I cannot believe how lucky I am to bring this amazing show back to the Grand Opera House. Com-bining the genius of the Gershwin-brother writing team and a humorous Crazy For You has been a dream for me to direct.
I am indebted to all of the students involved in this production for their countless hours attending to the many details of this story. I am so proud of how hard you have all worked and I could not have asked for a better group to make this dream of mine become a reality! Special thanks go to the senior class for their leadership and my student director, Ellen, for her fastidious and thorough behind-the-scenes work. Bravo!
As always, this show could not be possible without countless volunteers. Thank you to my parents, sisters, and husband for the time spent dream-ing, planning, and creating. You are all amazing and I am so grateful for all of your gifts you so willingly give to my students and me. This compli-cated dance show looks the way it does due to the incomparable talents of our choreographer, Anna. You are amazing, and I am so grateful for inspiring me when you were in high school and for all of your time spent on this complicated show! And to Mr. Zentner, the cast of the 1997 pro-duction of Crazy For You, and all Oshkosh North Choirs alums: thank you for your amazing gifts of musical theatre that keep on giving! Who could ask for anything more?

Student Director’s NotesOver the last few months I have had the honor of working with an extremely talented cast and crew. It has been a privilege to see the cast grow and develop into the characters they are today. I am very proud of how dedicated they are and how hard they worked. To see them rise to the occasion and face the many challenges this show has to offer has been incredible.
I am thankful to all of the production staff and volunteers who have worked to make this show come together. We are incredibly fortunate to have such hard working volunteers, and we couldn’t have done it without them. I would also like to thank Ms. Duffy for giving me the opportuni-ty to be the student director. I have learned so much from her and I am forever grateful for these experiences.
Finally, on behalf of cast, crew and orchestra, I would like to thank you for coming out and supporting our show. We hope you enjoy our tap-happy production of Crazy For You.
