What is the cost?

What is the cost? For an average person of your age, what do

you think it costs to bring them up?

Think about the basics like food, clothing, school equipment, toys…… all the things that an average person your age would have had.

Show how you reach your answer and what your ideas are for what an average person

would have been provided with.

Olympic Venue

Olympic VenueDesign a stadium or arena for a sport that’s

going to be part of London 2012.

Your design can be drawn on paper or be made as a 3D model.

You need to include an idea of scale, the size of your arena, how many spectators can fit into it

and what other facilities it has.

Olympic Display

Olympic DisplayDesign a floral display to celebrate an Olympic event

or a British Olympic hero.

The design will need to fill a 2m by 2m flower bed.You need to draw out your design to scale and show the colours you will use but also say what plants you

would use to make those colours.

It is possible that the winning design could feature in a border display in school.
