There was a great turnout for our graveyeard mass in Tyneclash cemetery last Sunday evening. Thanks to all who cleaned their graves and also maintain the graveyard. Also to everyone who helped in any way to prepare for the mass. Special thanks to Jim Harmon for the use of his field for parking.

...registration starts at 3pm
There will also be other sideline events such as prince & princess of wellies
(teenage event 13-18)....kiddies races....prizes for best homemade fancy
dressed outfit....funkiest wellies etc. Bring a picnic enjoy in park or will also be food
available on site. These events will all be followed by a crossroads dance in the
village starting at approx 6.30-10pm music by the very lively trio Hillbilly porter....all proceeds made from the day will go to Baltinglass hospital so please try come
along just for the craic.
Every Monday and Tuesday evening at 6.30pm everyone welcome to come along
and help weed and maintain our community park in Rathdangan. Its more fun when
there’s a group so please try make one of the nights, everyone welcome.
The Village Pantry
The Hub would especially like to invite
all secondary schools students to come volunteer at The Hub during
the summer months. A couple of hours a week would gain you invaluable work experience in dealing with customers ,
cashier, stocking shelves, waiting tables. All students U16 require parents to complete a parental consent form. If interested please leave your name and contact details at The
Hub.
A vacancy exists for the post of CE Supervisor in West Wicklow

This is a job share post for 19.5 hours per week as follows: (Wednesday 12:30pm –
5pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am – 5pm).

Kiltegan GAA Notes Our Junior Football team had a great win over neighbours Baltinglass in the Co. Junior
Football League Division 4 in Kiltegan last Thursday evening. Final score 3-9 to 0-8. Scores from:
Padraig Keogh (1-3), Philip Penrose(1-2), Laurence Murphy(1-0), Mark Ryan(0-1), Darren Hobson (0-2), Johnny Boy Keogh(0-1) .
Our Senior Hurlers got their Championship campaign back on track when they defeated
Avondale in the Senior Hurling Championship at Arklow on Sunday morning on a scoreline of 2-21 to 1-10 in a game in which Kiltegan was always in control. We were leading at half time 3-12 to 1-3. Our scores came from Jeffery Bermingham (1-7), Aaron Byrne(1-2), Padraig Byrne(1
-1), Seanie Germaine, JJ Phelan & Liam Keogh all scoring 3pts each and Rory Finn, Steven Coogan scoring one point each. Great to see Steven (Wonder) Coogan back on the playing field when he came on a as a sub on Thursday & Sunday and also got on the score sheet. Wonder has made a great recovery after a very serious injury to his arm following a road
accident last October.
Our Senior Football team had another important win in the Senior Football League Division 1A at Kiltegan last Thursday evening when they defeated Newtown on a score line of 0-12 to 1-6.
After been 2 points behind at half time 1-4 to 0-5, Kiltegan put in a much better second half performance to win by a 3pt margin. Our scores came from Rory Finn(0-6), Brian Cullen(0-2)
Mikey Foley(0-2), Philip Penrose & Mark Ryan scoring one point each.
Fixtures: Tuesday 18th July Senior Hurling Championship at Aughrim 7:45pm Kiltegan vs Bray Emmetts.
Our Juveniles are playing in hurling blitz in Kiltegan this Friday night.
Kiltegan Camogie Notes
Our U12 girls put in a great performance against Donard in the U12 League winning on a scoreline of 3-5 to 2-5. Great to see so many points been scored at this age group.
Our U8’s & U10’s are out this Saturday morning in Avondale for their blitz at 11am.
Our U14’s are out in the Championship on Monday 17th July U14 Championship in Annacurra
@6:30pm against Annacurra/Arklow.
Training for U6’s to U14’s every Wednesday night @6:30pm in Kiltegan. New members always welcome.
