Production On 19th September the whole school will be partici-pating in a production at the Chelsea Town Hall. All children are expected to attend both the matinee and evening performance. The production is always a highlight of the school year as the children dress up and perform a dance on the stage. The event is pro-fessionally videoed and photographed and they are available to be purchased after the event. It is always VERY hands on creating the costumes and we will be asking for volunteers to help out nearer the time. Take Home Books Please continue to fill in your child’s Reading Diary and send it to school each Friday so that we can write a motivational message and see how they are doing. Dojo Thank you again to all of the parents who have joined Dojo. We will continue to endeavour to check the page and reply to any messages between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Sickness It is that wonderful cold time of year, brrr. Many of the children have already started coughing and sneezing. Please have a chat with your child about effective hand hygiene. If they are complaining of feeling ill please err on the side of caution and keep them at home. Incursions The children will be participating in an incursion this term. We are currently in the process of booking it and will let you know the details nearer the time.

Book Week Book Week, this year, is rom 19th to 23rd August. The theme is ‘Reading is my Secret Power’. During the week we will be holding a book parade and the chil-dren are invited to dress up as their favourite book character. We will let you know the date when it has been finalised. There will also be a visit from a chil-drens’ book author. VPRC We would love all of the children in the school to complete the Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge. Please remember to add any books your child reads on to the list online. If you have lost your child’s login details please speak to his/her teacher and we will get you another one. Wellbeing Please come and speak to us if you have any ques-tions or concerns. Remember that no question is a silly question and we always pride ourselves on being a school that cares about the wellbeing of all mem-bers of our community.
