1. It has been in operation for almost three quarters of a century.
2. It reaches, with a school and home, boys and girls of elementary and high school ages who have lost a normal home, are not delinquent, have a financial limitation, and have a willingness to work to help themselves.
3. It provides Christian training in a wholesome country environment, endeavoring sanely and seriously to introduce all its youngsters to faith in Christ and to cultivate Christian character and citizenship.
4. It provides a student self-help work program in which all work for room and board, and as further need may demand, other expenses may be worked for.
5. It operates both a summer and winter program.
6. It also provides for the educational needs of a number of daystudents coming from parts of three counties.
7. It is located on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, a little north of the center of the state of Mississippi, with approximately 600 acres of campus, farm, and wood land.
