VENUE AND ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation booking deadline at the Hilton Sorrento Palace has passed however rooms are still available. You can send the booking form to the Hilton and they will advise you if they can confirm your booking request. Surrounded by a citrus garden, Hilton Sorrento Palace is a five-star hotel located only 10 minutes from the historical center, which is an ideal spot for shopping or enjoying the bustling nightlife and a five-minute drive from the port of Sorrento. The hotel is about a 1 hour 15 minute drive from the Naples Capodichino International Airport and 3 hours from Fiumicino International Airport in Rome. The public taxi fare from Naples airport to Sorrento is about € 125.00 (or slightly more pending on traffic). How to get free Wi-Fi during your stay: In order to avoid a charge for Wi-Fi in your hotel room and to receive other benefits, be sure to sign up for the Hilton Honors Programme.

Directions to the Hilton Sorrento Palace (bus, train, taxi, car) Transfers
1. Shared private coach service between Naples Airport and Sorrento: The CurreriViaggi Coach Service runs direct from the airport to Sorrento. It also stops at S. Agnello.
It is comfortable, quick (1 hour and 15 minutes) each way, cheap (10 EUR) including your luggage, which can be stored underneath the bus. During the journey you will see lovely views of Mount Vesuvius and the coastlinelovely views of Mount Vesuvius and the coastline. The service is not very frequent so check the times on the website, but ultimately saves time and hassle. The bus stops at the train station in Sorrento. From there, it is a 10-minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride to the Hilton Sorrento Palace hotel.
Daily Bus Service: - Departure from Naples Airport (Capodichino NAP) – After exiting the arrival terminal, follow the signs “BUSES” about 300 meters straight, PARK P1 - Departure from Sorrento – Circumvesuviana Train Station - Ticket Cost: 10 (ten) Euros per person each way - Tickets can be purchased inside the bus or on-line, in advance - Approximate duration - 1 hour and 15 minutes each way (subject to traffic conditions) - In the rare event of overcrowding, guests that purchased their tickets in advance on-line will have priority to board - If your flight is delayed, you can take an earlier or later bus, if there is enough space. - Due to possible traffic on the Sorrento coast, for the return trip from Sorrento to Naples Airport,
Autolinee Curreri SRL recommends to take the bus a minimum of 5 hours before your scheduled flight.

Please note: 1 November is bank holiday in Italy and involves a long weekend, information and booking are required by 25 October in order to allow Mutika Group to book the service and apply the procedure in due time.

REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN.
Deadline to register: You can still register to attend TechNet Europe however if you want to
attend the Pre-Conference dinner on 5 November you must register by 26 October. After this
date you will not be able to attend the dinner.
(Fee for Industry, Active Military/Government and Small companies/Consultants includes access to the conference sessions, exhibition, coffee breaks, lunches, reception on Tuesday 6 November in the exhibition area). If you are a consultant or work in a small company (of 10 persons or less), please contact us to register. Monday 5 November The Antico Francischiello da Peppino restaurant (Tickets for sale: 110 EUR per ticket) Address: Via Partenope 27 80061 Massa Lubrense A pre-conference dinner will be held on Monday 5 November at 19:00 at the Antico Francischiello da Peppino Restaurant. This fourth-generation family run restaurant serves traditional dishes in a Mediterranean style in the atmosphere of a private house with an incredible view not to be missed. Return bus transportation will be provided, leaving the Hilton Sorrento Palace at 18:30. Return buses to the Hilton Sorrento Palace will leave from the Antico Francischiello da Peppino restaurant at 22:00. IMPORTANT: Please note that in order to attend the 5 November pre-conference dinner you need to register by 26 October (via the online registration form). After that date, you will not be able to attend the dinner.
Tuesday 6 November Networking Reception in the Exhibition area 17:45-19:00 (open to all TechNet Europe participants. Timing may vary depending on speaker programme that will be regularly updated on the event web site).
AFCEAHACK
In conjunction with TechNet Europe, the second AFCEA Europe Hackathon was organised on 19-20 October in Naples, Italy. Professionals and mostly students, working as developers and designers, came together to solve challenges within 24 hours created by some of the leading universities in the field of cybersecurity. The results and awards will be given at the closing of TechNet Europe 2018 on Wednesday 7 November. Hashtag: #AFCEAHack
