Our Church Heating & Air Conditioning System is being re-placed! There will be no heating in the Church, Monday through Friday, during the weekdays, beginning Monday November 27h– Friday December 1st And From Monday December 4th - Friday December 8th, while the work is being done. St. Vincent De Paul Society Thanks to the generosity and hard work of many, many people, we were able to provide Thanksgiving baskets to 150 families, which included 573 peo-ple! We gave out 102 turkeys, 12 hams, and several chickens along with all the sides: potatoes, yams, stuff-ing, cranberry sauce, gravy, biscuits, pies (pumpkin or apple) and margarine. We want to thank the students

of St Charles school who conducted 2 separate food drives and donated a tremendous amount of food for our baskets. Kudos also to our team of hardworking, behind the scenes, always available core of volunteers for St Vincent de Paul here at St Charles! We have many volunteers who have tirelessly given their time, effort, and hearts for more than 20 years to serving the poor and needy in our area. This same core has provided the ongoing leadership and example to our group in one capacity or an-other for most of these years as well. Last year our group made 105 home visits, which assisted 333 people. Our Monday food distribution program gave out food to 3,866 families, or 14,021 people. This is no easy task, and it's all to the credit of our generous donors and our con-scientious, hardworking volunteers. Thank you, thank you!! Giving Tree- Looking for a way to give back during Christmas? The youth group will be hosting a Gift Giving Tree. The tree will be decorated with name tags that bear gift requests from registered families. Take an ornament, purchase a gift and bring your unwrapped gift and orna-ment tag to the parish office between Dec. 4-13. last day to accept gifts will be December 17th• Look for our giv-ing tree starting December 2nd.
