TERMS
Air Air rate and schedule are applicable for groups of 10 or more traveling on the same flights and dates. Air rates, schedules, taxes and fees are subject to change until passengers have paid in full.
If air is canceled within 90 days of departure, penalties may apply. Name changes are subject to penalties within this time period.
Groups who purchase Collette Air will receive complimentary hotel transfers on the scheduled day of arrival and departure, not including pre or post stays.
Airline fees and surcharges are included at time of pricing but are subject to change without notice. Any increase in airline fees, fuel surcharges or taxes imposed by airlines or governments or any supplier, both domestic and foreign, or other entity, will be passed on to the participant until passengers have paid in full.
Deposits and Names A per person deposit is due with passenger names
Should your clients decide to purchase our trip cancellation waiver they must do so at time of booking
Payment of a per person waiver fee guarantees a full refund of all payments (including deposit) except for the waiver fee itself, in case of cancellation of travel plans
for any reason prior to the day of departure.
All names submitted to Collette Vacations must appear exactly as shown on passengers' passports.
Any name changes are subject to penalty.
Revision Fees A handling fee of $25 per change will be assessed for any change or revision made to a reservation.
A change of tour date or tour itinerary within the guidelines of the cancellation policy will be treated as a cancellation and regular cancellation fees apply.
If flight changes or flight cancellations are requested, revision fees or airline cancellation fees will apply.
A voluntary change of departure within 90 days of original departure date will be treated as a cancellation and cancellation charges will apply.
Seat Reductions On the seat reduction date, your group space will be reduced to the number of seats under deposit with names.
Triple Rooms Triple rooms are normally a standard double room with 2 beds. A cot or rollaway bed may be requested but not guaranteed due to size of room and fire codes.
PreSold Options 5% commission is paid on pre-sold options.
Options purchased on tour are non-commissionable.
If you have not purchased waivers, and you need to cancel for any reason prior to the day of departure, the Cancellation Fees are as follows:
Cancellation Charges for this tour: After your seat reduction date has passed, a non-refundable deposit will be retained. For Cancellation between 60-16 days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 20% of total price. For cancellation between 15-1 days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 40% of total price. For cancellation on the
day of departure and after: 100% of total price. For Ocean Cruises: For cancellation between 90-61 days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 25% of total price. For
cancellation between 60-31 days prior to departure: 50% of total price. 30 or fewer days prior to departure: 100% of total price. For River Cruises: including Europe, Russia, Egypt and China, 90-61 days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 40% of total price. For cancellation between 60-31 days prior to departure: cancellation fee
of 75% of total price. For cancellation 30 or fewer days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 100% of total price. For Galapagos and Antarctica: A cancellation fee of
50% will apply for cancellation between 120-90 days prior to departure; A cancellation charge of 100% will apply for cancellation less than 90 days prior to departure. For Oberammergau: Non-refundable deposit will be retained. A cancellation fee of 75% will apply for cancellation between 120-90 days prior to departure; A
cancellation charge of 100% will apply for cancellation less than 90 days prior to departure. Cancellation protection is highly recommended and must be purchased at
time of deposit. Air rates are subject to change until tour is paid in full. Cancellation charges also apply to reservations made for "pre" and "post" night accommodations. Purchase of Waiver and Insurance guarantees a full refund of all payments (including deposit), except the Waiver and insurance fee itself, made to
Collette Vacations for travel arrangements in case of cancellation of your travel plans for any reason prior to the day of departure. The Waiver and Insurance does not
cover any single supplement charges which arise from an individual's Traveling companion electing to cancel for any reason prior to departure. Upon cancellation of transportation or travel services where you, the customer, are not at fault and have not canceled in violation of the terms and conditions above, you will be refunded

Any and all disputes concerning this contract, this brochure or any other advertising material concerning your trip, or the trip itself must be resolved
exclusively pursuant to binding arbitration in Rhode Island, pursuant to the then current rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Great Barrier Reef
Board a high speed catamaran for an
exciting excursion to the Great Barrier
Reef. This is an immense series of 2,800
coral reefs which are home to amazingly
diverse marine life. From your base on
Green Island, you are able to explore the
reef in many ways. Enjoy a glass bottom
boat ride*, a stroll on the walking trail to
take in the rain forest, relax on the beaches,
or just watch the fish and sea turtles swim
past from the pier. For a more adventurous
encounter with the reef, optional scuba
diving, snorkeling and an outer reef tour are
also available*. Whichever way you
choose, you’ll see some of the world’s most
fascinating marine and plant life. Today

Cairns
Today visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural
Center. You’ll see traditional Aboriginal
dances, learn about the Aboriginal lifestyle,
and even throw a boomerang or play a
didgeridoo, a traditional instrument. Browse
the renowned art gallery and visit the
interpretation center, which houses a
collection of interesting artifacts. This
afternoon a great experience awaits as you
search for crocodiles in their natural habitat
during a visit to Hartley's Croc Farm! While
visiting you also have the chance to meet
some of the local koalas. Your evening is at
leisure. Today breakfast will be included.

Cairns - Sydney
Fly to the bustling city of Sydney this
morning. This evening, dine atop the city at
Sydney's Revolving Restaurant enjoying the
spectacular views of the Harbour Bridge and

Sydney
Enjoy a city tour of Sydney where the
English explorer James Cook first weighed
anchor in 1770. Highlights of your
exploration include Kings Cross, the
Harbour Bridge, Chinatown, the Rocks,
Circular Quay, the Botanic Gardens and the
fashionable Paddington suburb. Discover
one of the world’s most fascinating
architectural wonders during a guided tour
of the Sydney Opera House. Later, enjoy

Day 10: Wednesday, March 10, 2010
Queenstown - Milford Sound -
Queenstown
En route to Milford Sound, enjoy the rugged
grandeur of the Hollyford Valley. You’ll
travel through beech forest via the Homer
Tunnel. During a cruise of the
breathtakingly beautiful Milford Sound
you’ll see why this fjord is one of the most
visited sites on the South Island. With
rock faces that rise nearly 4,000 feet on
either side, the scenery will take your
breath away. Following your cruise, you
return to Queenstown. You may choose to
return via a short optional flight (weather
permitting) for spectacular views of New
Zealand’s Southern Alps. Today breakfast

A leisurely day in Queenstown offers
several options to enhance your vacation.
Shop or people watch in the village or
perhaps take the optional "Safari of the
Rings" which takes you through the majestic
Remarkable Mountains and the breathtaking
Queenstown countryside where the Lord of
the Rings movies were filmed. Today

Day 12: Friday, March 12, 2010
Queenstown - Mt. Cook - Christchurch
Traverse the spectacular countryside to New
Zealand’s most famous national park, Mt.
Cook. En route, enjoy a stop at a local fruit
stand to gain an inside look at the produce of
New Zealand. Mt. Cook is one of the most
impressive mountains in the world. You
may choose to view the massive glaciers and
extensive snow-covered mountain top
terrain on an optional glacier flightseeing
tour (weather permitting), or perhaps enjoy
the park during a nature walk. This evening
arrive in the historic city of Christchurch.

Christchurch
This morning enjoy a short sightseeing tour
of "the most English city outside of
England", Christchurch. Highlights include
magnificent gardens, the Neo-Gothic
Cathedral and the downtown park district.
Later, visit a Canterbury farmyard where
you’ll enjoy a sheep shearing demonstration
and see the herding of the farm’s animals!
It’s a great opportunity to learn how a New
Zealand family farm operates. This
afternoon, you are invited to participate in
an optional tour of the International
Antarctic Center for an interactive
experience and unique glimpse into the
world of Antarctic expeditions. Make
yourself right at home this evening when a
New Zealand family welcomes you into
their home for dinner! This is sure to be
an unforgettable evening during which
you will make new friends, learn about
the customs of the “Kiwi’s” and enjoy a
home-cooked meal. Today breakfast and

Today, enjoy a day of exploration on your
own in beautiful Christchurch. This English
city – the charming international gateway to
New Zealand’s South Island – boasts

cobblestone streets and enjoy the many
sights that “the Garden City” has to offer.
Tonight, dine inside the restored
Riccarton House mansion and learn the
history of the first family of
Christchurch. Today breakfast and
dinner will be included.

Born of the need to portray Aboriginal culture with dignity and pride, the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is a stunning theatrical and
symbolic interpretation of a 50,000-year-old society.
Five theatres, a museum, an art gallery and a traditional Aboriginal camp combine to give you a complete and meaningful glimpse into
this rich and ancient culture. The Fine Art Gallery features paintings and works by local Aboriginal artists available for purchase.
In the tribal encampment area, the most interactive area of the park, you can interact with Tjapukai people as they teach you the art of
throwing a boomerang or playing a didgeridoo. After watching a short demonstration on bush food and medicine, you can even taste
their edible samples!

"Leisure Stays" are tours in which the itineraries are designed to allow
for multiple-night stays in two or more cities. This allows you a more
leisurely pace and more time to explore the destinations on your own.

To complete your vacation, we include roundtrip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing Collette airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we
are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that
all transfers will leave at pre-scheduled times.
Due to changes in air schedules while on tour, the order of days in the itinerary may
change.
The internal flights on this program are not included in the land price of your
vacation. These flights need to be arranged and purchased separately if you arrange
your own air. Internal flights are included with the air portion of your vacation if you
purchase air through Collette Vacations.
Previous clients have indicated that a small gift from your area is appropriate and
appreciated the night of your home hosted dinner in New Zealand.
Due to early arrival times in some cities, rooms may not always be ready for
immediate check-in.
*If you purchase the outer reef option in the Great Barrier Reef, the glass bottom boat
ride will be replaced by a semi-submersible boat on the outer reef pontoon.
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed with the exception of visits to wildlife parks.
This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to
climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven grounds and
cobblestone streets.

following highly reputable industry organizations: the United States Tour
Operators Association and the American Society of Travel Agents. Each
association operates a consumer protection plan to cover deposits made by
travelers. Full details are available from the organizations or Collette Travel
Service. Collette is pleased to give this additional protection to our clients. Our
California Sellers of Travel registration number is 2006766-20. Our State of
Washington Unified Business Number is 601220855. Our Nevada Sellers of
Travel registration number is 2003-0279.
Responsibilities: Neither Collette Travel Services, Inc., its affiliated entities and its
and their employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents, and
assigns (collectively "Collette"), own or operate any person or entity which is to or
does provide goods or services for these trips. Because neither maintains any
control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers, Collette
assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury,
death, property damage or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or
irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of (1) any wrongful, negligent,
willful or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the suppliers or
other employees or agents, (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or
instrument owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers, or (3) any
wrongful, willful or negligent act or omission on the part of any other party not
under the supervision and control of Collette. Additionally, responsibility is not
accepted for losses or expenses due to sickness, lack of appropriate medical

accommodations are subject to the laws of the country in which they are provided.
Collette reserves the right to make changes in the published itinerary whenever, in
their sole judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the
comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour. They reserve the right to withdraw any
tour announced. Collette reserves the right to decline to accept any person as a
member of the tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the tour at any
time, when such action is determined by the tour manager to be in the best interests
of the health, safety, and general welfare of the tour group or of the individual
participant. Neither does Collette accept liability for any carrier's cancellation
penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable airline or other ticket to the
tour departure city and return or otherwise. Baggage and personal effects are the
sole responsibility of the owner at all times. Participants may be photographed for
the promotional purposes of Collette. Arbitration - I agree that any dispute
concerning, relating, or referring to this contract, the brochure or any other
literature concerning my trip, or the trip itself, shall be resolved exclusively by
binding arbitration according to the then existing rules of the American Arbitration
Association in Rhode Island. Such proceedings will be governed by substantive
Rhode Island law.
Payment of the deposit to Collette constitutes acceptance of these terms and
conditions.

The waiver insurance fees do not cover any single supplement charges which arise from an individual’s traveling companion electing to cancel for
any reason prior to departure. In this case, the single supplement will be deducted from the refund of the person who cancels. Division of this charge

Cairns
HOT AIR BALLOONING ADVENTURE

Float over blue gum and paper bark trees and experience the wide open spaces of the Atherton
Tablelands/Cairns Highlands in a hot air balloon. See the balloons inflate and rise into the sky. Don’t
forget your camera to capture dawn’s light on the lush greenery on the mountainous plain. After your 60
minute flight, return to the ground and “tuck into” a hearty “Aussie Style” champagne breakfast featuring
