IOTHINGS come from the experience gained through M2M FORUM, the first-ever international M2M+IoT Conference & Expo. M2M forum was launched in 2002 by Innovability and in 15 editions has brought together European players in the Machine-to-Machine and Internet of Things space.

THE ONLYThe only italian business and most important event dedicated to M2M and IoT Technologies aimed at developing solutions and innovative services concerning different fields such as Smart Cities and Industry 4.0. 2017 News: IOT for Smart Farming.

Also this year co-located with IOTHINGS: EMBEDDED IOT and IOENERGY. Since 2011 IOENERGY has featured broad and integrated contents on the technology usage for the Internet of Energy field.

Target audience is B2B only and it includes C-levels from End-users companies, Public Utilities, Public Administration and Carriers. It is the only event where a session will be discussed around the new born figure of Chief IoT Officer.

In 2016 have attracted 1218 visitatori from 20 countries, more than 400 participants at the conferences, 83 among sponsors, partners and exhibitors (for more information see the End-Of-Show Report 2016).

The event is also innovative in its format: not only expo and conferences, but also business meetings and networking. 2017 Edition will give participants the opportunity to take part to the second year of IoT Valley Tour to discover the territory excellences.

This area comes from the former M2M Forum conference program and features all the technology and business seminars for the Italian market. Free admission upon registration.

The fast development of the Internet of Things and the increasing number of objects connected to the legacy sytems lead to the growth of threats and vulnerabilities. Among the subjects the Cybersecurity conference session will cover privacy issues, weak authorizations, lack of cryptography, unsafe web interfaces, unsafe software, unsafe equipments. The aim is to understand the risks and the solutions currently available.

The international conference featuring worldwide renown speakers and discussing about scenarios, technology trends, business models and investment opportunities.
