From London and the East take junction 15 off the M4 and follow the A417 towards Cirencester. (From the North exit the M5 at junction 11A and follow the A417 towards Cirencester.) Cirencester is best circumvented by taking the ring road clockwise around the town, keeping an eye open for the A433 to Tetbury. About 9 miles from Cirencester, the A433 dips into a wooded area and twists slightly. There is an old people’s home (Ilsom House) on the left. Immediately afterwards there is a cross roads). Take the left turn and follow all the way into the Market Square where you turn left. Stay on the main road as it twists through town and steeply down over the river Avon (single file with priority going out of town). Turnpike Cottage (it has a green door) is immediately ahead second on the left 10 yards after “The Old Rope Walk”. Turn in to the driveway before the cottage. From the South Tetbury is approached from Malmesbury on the B4014 after a left turn off the A429 just North of Malmesbury. (Junction 17 of the M4). After leaving Long Newnton, the 30MPH is seen on the way into Tetbury as the river bridge is approached. Tetbury Hospital is on the right hand side and Turnpike Cottage is immediately ahead on the right (first property after the hospital), abutting the road, 30 yards before the single file traffic system over the bridge with priority going out of town. Turn right into the driveway immediately after the cottage between two stone buildings. From the West Tetbury is approached from Bath on the A433. Drive right into the Market Square where you turn right. Stay on the main road as it twists through town and steeply down over the river Avon (single file with priority going out of town). Turnpike Cottage is immediately ahead second on the left 10 yards after “The Old Rope Walk”. Turn in to the driveway before the cottage.

Turnpike Cottage is a charming, detached and recently restored cottage overlooking Tetbury

Church and Tetbury Old Town and is just minutes walk to the Town Centre and all the facilities

Tetbury has to offer. The larger of the two double bedrooms is a family room with double and single beds and there is a sofa-bed in the sitting room.

Up to seven people can sleep at the cottage but it would be more luxurious and spacious for

four/five. There is off road parking for two cars.The cottage is equipped to a high standard with a

recently fitted kitchen/breakfast room, utility room and a downstairs loo. The sitting room is a generous size and is extremely comfortable and

homely. The bathroom is also recently fitted with bath and separate shower.

The garden is laid to lawn with decking at the end of the garden to enjoy the beautiful views of

Tetbury.

The cottage facilities include: Fully equipped Kitchen/Breakfast Room with Dishwasher,

Washing/Drying Machine, Oven, Microwave and Refrigerator. There is also a Travel Cot. Linen and

Towels are provided, TV, DVD player and Stereo with a selection of CD’s and DVD’s, Iron and Ironing

Facilities, Garden with Garden Furniture, Barbecue and Complimentary Guest WIFI

Turnpike Cottage can be let for self-catering Bed and Breakfast or for holiday cottage letting with a

welcome hamper provided. For Bed and Breakfast, breakfast will be left in the cottage to be prepared by

guests in their own time and at their convenience.There is a No Smoking Policy in place at Turnpike
