[SettingsLocation - A perfume lab (with lots of apparatus, I reckon)Time - 12pm (lunchtime)]

Anna [Doing what usual chemist does, pouring liquid from test tubes to test tubes][Humming a song][Face Emotion: Turn from happy to boring then to depression]

“Fine, let’s see what she does”

[Take a chunk of fruitcake from meal box to the test tube, then shake it vigorously, she then use her fingers to touch the Fruitcake Special and rub it in back of her hand, she then smells it]

Amos [Walking past and stopped at where Anna works, nose smelling, then turn to Anna.]

“Anna!”Anna [Turned back to see Amos, looks nervous]

“Yes, Mr Amos, how may I help you?”Amos [Stared at Anna]

“Anna, I have no idea, but you look terrific today!”

[Smelling up and down]

“What’s the lovely smell… I wonder”

“I sensed, fresh bread, yea, and yea, flowers? Wait, more… and Sunshine? They just mix together.

[Surprised]

“Is that you Anna?”Anna [Face Emotion: No idea]

[Face Emotion turns to: Confused] Amos [Even more surprise with a big smile on his face]

“YES! THAT’s YOU ANNA”Chemists [Attention turn to Anna and Amos]

[A short while later they continue their work]Amos [Approach Anna’s right ear]

[Whisper]

“ I really have no idea Anna, I couldn’t help myself, but I really never noticed this before! And I can only say, you are terribly beautiful lady!”

Anna [Looking less confused but still confused][Stuttering]

“Mr. Amos, I …

[Cut off by Amos]Amos [Looking happy and no longer whispering]

“It’s true Anna, and I must see you outside this dull, dusty and dirty factory, can you have dinner with me tonight?”

[Both hands approaching Anna’s hands]Anna [Seeing Amos’ both hands approaching, she quickly dodged them]

“Well… errmmm… I….”

[Look confused, and look afraid]Amos [Starts to turn around and walk away]

[Finger points at watch and then Anna]

“That’s awesome! I will come and pick you up at eight, at your place. See ya’ then!”

[Disappeared from scene]

[TRANSITION – Curtain closed]

Narrator: So here’s the deal, chances Mr. Amos would go and date a not-even-attractive girl like Anna, are virtually zero. Surely Anna is getting confused by this. Anna went home and found that her mum is sitting with Aunt Mimi.

To Anna, Aunt Mimi is simply annoying, and often makes her feel embarrassed by asking her to find a husband or she will find her one.

Anna [Opens the door, surprised to see Aunt Mimi in the room with Mum]

“Hey Aunt Mimi! How nice to see you!”Mimi [Hug Anna and then stare at her]

“Anna, you have been my cute little good girl, but you are now twenty-three! You are no longer a little girl, how time flies!”

Anna “Aunt, I’m twenty-seven already”Mimi “Twenty-seven? And still you haven’t got a husband, or at least a boyfriend

yet?”

[Sit down again, Anna sit down too]

“You see, your mum, is married when she was only eighteen. And you, are borned when she was only nineteen!”

[Face emotion turns to a bit disappointed]

“You are going to become an old lady soon, still you haven’t bring a nice guy home, so when are you going to do that?”

[Turning optimistic]Mum “There was a nice boy called Armstrong, he was nice.”

[Facing Mimi then Anna]Anna [Speak with tone of hatred]

“Mum, but that Armstrong guy was only a pizza delivery man!”Mum [Speak with a weak smile]

“But Anna, I liked him, he was nice!”Anna [Trying to refute]

“Mum, you remember when our cooker broke down so hard? He was just delivering the pizzas, and we ate pizzas for almost a week!”

[Trying so hard to respect her mum]Mum [Speak with solid tone]

“I don’t care, but I just liked him. He got nice eyes”Mimi [Looked surprised]

“Wait Anna, if that guy was nice, then you are dumb enough to let him go. But why?”

Anna [Irritated]

“AUNT! That Armstrong was only a pizza delivery man! He is not my type damn it!”

Mimi [Speak and partially shout with some flames]

“SO what? He was a pizza delivery dude but now, there are chances he own a pizza company right? And damn you let him go! Are you retarded?”

Anna [Still irritated but avoid conflict to goes on]

“By the way mum, that fruitcake was nice. I liked it”Mum [Turn to Aunt Mimi for a sec]

“Aunt Mimi bought it.”

[Turn back to Anna with a fierce looking eye]

“But please don’t attempt to change the subject Anna! Your aunt has something to tell you!”

Mimi [Being optimistic]

“Yea Anna, I think I just found a perfect boy for ya’ He is not really young, so do you. But he’s still got his own hair…. [INTERRUPTED]

Anna [INTERRUPTED aunt mimi]

“STOP Aunt Mimi, to be honest I’m about to see someone tonight.”

[Aunt Mimi and Mummy stopped and startled and start to open mouth involuntarily]

“I’m serious, he is Mr. David Amos, my boss, and he wants to see me at eight.”

[Aunt Mimi and Mummy start to look at each other with mouth wide open.]

[TRANSITION – for costume change, optional settings change]

Narrator: And so Anna decided to wear a black dress for tonight’s dinner, she decided to put on lots of Intrigue, and she wants to know the reason behind Mr.Amos’ crazy action today. And Mr.Amos came.

Amos [Press doorbell ring]Anna [Opened the door right afterward]

“Hey Mr. Amos”Amos [Looks quiet and not excited and boring]

“Hey Anna.”

[TRANSITION – Settings – change to a deluxe French restaurant]

Narrator: Sadly Mr. Amos shows no interest at all in Anna when he was driving, he said nothing. Anna was desperate and confused.

Amos [Look at Anna with serious face and tone]

“Look Anna…”

[Looks like he is trying to coming up with some sorts of excuse, desperate]

“Today at the factory, I have no idea why I behaved like that. But that’s not

because I am psycho or whatsoever. It’s just unexplainable!”Anna [Started to look desperate and even more confused, almost burst out crying]

“But wait Mr. Amos, I thought it’s because that you found me attractive? That you liked my perfume?”

Amos [Filled with apology and regret and have no idea what to do next]

“Anna, can we just see this as… erm… like…”

[Hand acts like don’t know what to say]Anna [Looks furious and desperate]

“As what, Amos?”Amos [Fake to be happy and delighted]

“As a reward and compliment for your achievements in our factory Anna!”

“You are one of our best chemists! I will pay for this dinner Anna, as my appreciation to your commitment to work in my factory. Your efforts are invaluable!”

[Smile, obviously it’s fake]Anna [Looked sad]

[Get up from her seat]

“Excuse me for a moment Mr. Amos”Amos [Looking more relaxed now]

“Yea sure!”Anna [Walked to ladies’ room]

[Looked sad, furious and annoyed, she tries to find Intrigue in her handbag but it’s not there, she put on some Fruitcake Special instead]

[Going back to the seat][Almost collided with a waiter, the waiter then shows a weird looking face, he continues to serve foods and soon knocked down a table with cakes on it]

Amos [Looking embarrassed again, try to avoid eye contact with Anna][Mouth opened suddenly then closed right after]

[He smelled the Fruitcake Special]

“Finally you’re back- I really missed you Anna! I just… been in a terrible terrible dream and I’ve just woken up, oh gosh~”

Anna [Looking confused]

“Dream? Mr Amos?”Amos [Being seduced by Anna?]

“Please call me David, Darling~”

[Smile on his face]

“I meant it, I dreamt that I treated you like you are merely an employee, and I was being awful to you. But the undeniable fact is, you meant so much more to me, I can’t help myself to it!”

[Anna is now more confused than ever]

“You should now realized I’m crazy about you Darling!”

[Anna’s face looked awkward and disgusted by now]

“I feel my heart, growing with love, just for you Anna!”Waitress 1

“Excuse me miss, somebody just phoned you, if I may.”

[Points to the engaging telephone]Anna [Get up from the seat]

“Excuse me again David, I promised this won’t be long~”Amos [Still staring at Anna]

“1 minute? It’s still too long for me to handle, especially when you are gone Anna!”

Anna [Pick up the phone and notice the waiter just now waving his hand from far away, the waiter has bits of cakes on his trousers]

Waiter [Waving his hand crazily at Anna]

“Miss… Even though I’m only a poor waiter but somehow, love makes me brave!”

[Both hands gripping the phone]

“When I saw you just now, I could no longer stop myself from falling in love with ya’ . You are way too beautiful laddie! Please tell me that you will see me. I promise that I can offer more than the rich fool that you are sitting with, he is nothing! Love owns money and everything! And I love you more than he could! Please be mine”

Anna [Trying to figure out some sorts of solution]

“Wait a sec Romeo, why don’t you just chillax and server the lobster, like a good little waiter?”

Waiter “I will! And I promise I won’t embarrass you! My love!”

[Hanged up the phone and continue working, but faster than ever before]Anna [Walking back to seat but tries to avoid other male customers]

[Surprised to see Amos is sitting with Sabina]Amos [Chit-chatting with Sabina]

[Felt nervous when saw Anna approaching with confused eyes]

Sabina [Saw Anna, looking down on her]

“Well hey, Anna~ I’ve never seen you before, did I?”

[Held out a hand, expecting Anna to kiss it]

“Aren’t you the one who works for Amos? Making perfume is his factory? Sounds exciting right?”

[Sarcastic tone]Amos [Furiously]

“Stop doing it Sabina, Anna is the woman I love, not you!”Anna [Feeling guilty and messy]

“David, I really think I…”Waiter [Suddenly pops out, playing a violin, singing #O Sole Mio at the top of his

voice.Sabina [Hit the face of Amos angrily]Amos [Saw the singing waiter and punched him]

Narrator: The big fight soon developed between the trio, the waiters around try to calm them down and break away their fight. And we see that foods, cakes, lobsters are everywhere, there are also some broken chairs and tables as a result of the fight. Anna soon realized how serious this thing can be and soon escape by taxi. Lucky for her, the taxi driver was a woman.
