RiveRScapeMetRopaRkWhen you think o a place or amily un, RiverScape MetroPark tops the list! People o all ages visit RiverScape

to take paddleboat rides on the river, listen to live music, enjoy cultural estivals, watch spectacular outdoor

laser shows, and learn about Dayton’s history and the many inventions born here. Festival Plaza, the centerpiece

o RiverScape, eatures ower gardens and reecting pools and an interactive ountain where kids play on hot

summer days. In the winter, RiverScape transorms into a winter wonderland complete with an ice skating rink.

Packard Museum is Dayton’s original Packard dealership. The museum was built in 1917

and was in operation until 1939. Now it is home to more than 25 cars. The cars range in

age rom the beginning o the Packard era with the 1910 to the end o the era with the 1956 Hawk. The museum

also hosts a variety o special events and receptions.

downtown.

couRthouSe SquaRe anDtheolD couRthouSe

Courthouse Square is the centerpiece o downtown Dayton and a hot spot or outdoor

concerts, rallies, press conerences and other special events. The Square is packed

during lunchtime in the summer as vendors provide a quick, tasty lunch to downtowners. The Old Court House

presides over the Square. This remarkable structure served as the Montgomery County Court House rom 1850 to
