Intended Use Rimano Uni is designed for the mechanical interior plastering of the brick, ACC, concrete walls, etc. It is to be applied in thicknesses of up to 40 mm. Rimano Uni is recommended also for the renovation and repair works, where the plastering must be reconditioned. It is recommended as a replacement of the traditional plastering made of three layers (grout, primer, base coat) based on sanding cement. Substrate The substrate shall be clean, dust- free, oil-free, unfrozen, dry and protected from excessive moisture. The highly absorbent areas (e.g. ACC, brick) will be primed with Ri- Kombigrund, for lowering their absorption. The glassy surfaces (e.g. the concrete) shall be primed with Ri- Kombikontact to ensure the cohesion of the plastering on the wall/ceiling. Application conditions The temperature in the air, of the material and substrate shall be above +5°C and below 35°C. Both in excessive heat conditions, excessive ventilation and in excessive cold conditions, the precincts where the work is done or the freshly worked areas shall be adequately protected. Appropriate ventilation shall be provided in the closed precincts for drying the product. Application Marking and setting the screeds In case screeds are used in the laying of the plastering, we recommend you to use the metallic T profiles protected against corrosion by galvanizing or aluminium T profiles. They shall be fastened by means of a gypsum grout (InstalGips or Construct Gips are recommended). The setting shall be made on the entire length of the profile, in order to avoid the bending of the profile. Material Preparation The water flow of the plastering machine shall be adjusted so that the hardness of the paste obtained allows the easy levelling by using the lute, and the material does not leak on the walls. If the water pressure is low, you should use an additional pump to compensate this. Method of Work The paste is applied mechanically on the substrate, continuously, without leaving any unfilled spots. The plastering surface shall be levelled in successive stages until obtaining a smooth area. The working time of about 2 hours is influenced by the absorption of the substrate and the ambient temperature. In the case of hot days, the material applied will be sprinkled with plenty of water. It is applied in one layer, by observing the mechanical application technology for the gypsum plastering. Rimano Uni does not need any additional finishes (plasters), as a smooth surface is obtained, prepared for painting, tapestry, etc. Tools required Clean tools (lute, hawk, plaster hawk and spatula) shall be used. The gypsum or dirt from the pots and tools shortens the time of setting of the product. The tools shall be cleaned with water immediately after use. Product storage and handling Keep the product in a dry place, in the original sealed packaging and protected from bad weather. The product is valid until the date printed on the bag. Occupational and Environmental Protection Measures Work with appropriate protective equipment: safety goggles and a dust mask. Avoid the contact with the eyes (if necessary, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice), the prolonged contact with the skin, the ingestion / inhalation. It is recommended to reduce the forming of dust on the work site. The waste from the packaging, and those resulted from using the product will be treated according to the legal provisions in force. Product Description

Rimano Uni is a type of light gypsum plastering for interior works, mechanical application.
