What the Fujisawa Beach Cleaning Project is about The Fu j i sawa Beach C lean ing Project focuses on cleaning beaches in the Shonan area and gathering data on ma r i n e d eb r i s . I t i s a t a n g i b l e commun i t y a c t i v i t y t ha t b r i n g s foreigners and locals together to do something good and to get to know each other better.

 Twice a year, in the spring and the fa l l , the Fuj isawa Beach Cleaning Project gathers volunteers for a beach cleaning day of service.The Spring Campaign is a special way to commemorate Earth Day.The Fal l Campaign is part of the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup Initiative.
