The Jackson Progress-Argus is currently seeking a full-time general assignment reporter to join
its small but hard-working staff.
Primary responsibilities include interviewing, reporting, writing, photography and video. The position also
includes assisting walk-in customers.
While the incumbent will primarily cover news, some high school sports coverage is required.
To be eligible for hire, prospective employment candidates must have a good MVR with reliable transportation with auto insurance, and
successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Recent college graduates with relevant degrees and experience at student media outlets will be considered.
Position includes bene�ts package, including paid time off. No relocation expenses paid.
