30 Hour Offer Comments

From September 2017 children aged 3&4 years from working families will be eligible for up to 30 hours of childcare made up of 15 hours FEL plus up to an additional 15 hours of childcare. Both parents will need to be working except for single parent families where only the parent with parental responsibility will need to be working. They must earn the equivalent of at least 16 hours at the National Minimum Wage and the number of hours will be dependent on the number of hours worked. We have mapped where the eligible families live in Sheffield and produced this map which is intended to help providers to gauge likely demand in their locality. We will be issuing further information nearer to the time once more details are available from the Government.
