We would love to host your special event here at the newly established Pimpama Tavern!With multiple areas available for hire we are equipped to cater every occasion including weddings, birthdays, christenings, corporate events, kids parties and more. Our experienced function team can talior your event to suit any budget and occasion including menu choices, decorations and entertainment.
Located at the old strawberry farm in Pimpama (opposite Pimpama City Shopping Centre) we are only 30km from the Gold Coast and 50km from Brisbane making us the perfect half way venue. At the Pimpama Tavern we aim to make your special event memorable and stress free from start to finish.

Function RoomOur large function room offers a capacity of up to 200 pax cocktail style (minimum 100 pax on Friday and Saturday nights) This includes the use of the small alfresco area. It offers a private bar, direct access to the bathrooms and the use of the AV equipment including projector, microphone and ipod facilities. Perfect for large scale events!

Garden BarOur Garden Bar is is situated in the alfresco dining area, this space is sectioned off for functions and has the added convenience of a bar that is opened for bookings in this area.This space is perfect for cocktail style events and can accommodate up to 100 guests when set up this way.

Celebrate your child’s birthday here at the Pimpama Tavern!With a state of the art two storey playground, a reserved booth for the kids, colouring in and basic games, let us take the stress out of the day.$15 a child includes a choice of nuggets and chips or a slider and fries and a soft serve ice cream for dessert.
Party bookings are available Sunday to Thursday 11am to 12.30pm or 4pm to 5.30pm. Minimum 10 kids, Maximum 30 kids. Adult supervision is required.

We can help with any decorations including (but not limited to) centerpieces, theming, flower wall, photo booths, balloon garlands, fresh flowers and more
Want to bring some life to your event? Why not book in some live entertainment?We offer a range of entertainment to suit any event including, DJ’s, bands, roving entertainers, magicians, face painters, photographers, live shows and more! (All entertainment needs to be sourced directly through Pimpama Tavern, management reserves the right to refuse external entertainment companies)
We also offer an arrangement of specialised cake! A cakeage fee of $3 p/p applies for all external cakes bought into the venue.

Confirmation of your eventYour event is only deemed confirmed once a deposit of $500 has been received. Tentative bookings will be held for 48 hours only. Management reserves the right to release the date to another client if the above has not been received.
Final PaymentPlatter order/final payment (and all function details) are required to be finalized 14 days prior to the function date. We are able to cater for all dietary requirements. These also must be specified a minimum of 14 days prior to your event
Function RoomManagement does not take responsibility for personal items / gifts within the function room. Decorations are not to be adhered to the wall, unless done so with blu tack. Please note that any damage caused to the building by the function organizer or guests will incur a repair fee
Terms and Conditions
Responsible Service of AlcoholResponsible Service of Alcohol Under Queensland Law is applicable to any private or public function held within the premises. Function guests that are under the age of 18, unduly intoxicated or disorderly will not be served and may be asked to leave the premises. Management reserve the right to refuse entry to any function guests. Minors must vacate the premises by 9.30pm
SecurityWhere the function manager sees fit, functions may be required to have a security officer present throughout the duration of the event. Security will be required to be onsite for all 21st birthdays, weddings and sport club wind ups. This will be charged at $50 per hour (min 4 hours) payable by the function client. We do not allow 18th birthdays or bux / hen nights. This is however up to the discretion of management.
CancellationIn the instance that a function is to be cancelled, a written notification must be made to the functions manager within the outlined specified time frames for your deposit to be refunded.Notice required: 30+ Days 100% refunded, 15 - 29 Days 50% refunded, 0 - 14 Days deposit forfeited Please note: any bookings made between the 1st November and the 1st March are subject to a “Strict No-Refund Policy”
PhotographyThe Pimpama Tavern has the right to photograph each event and use for advertising purposes. If you do not wish for this to take place this must be advised in writing with the functions manager prior to your event.
