FunkyKidz Messy Play is a sensory experience for kiddies from 5 months – 7 years.
We offer classes once a week to experiment with different textures and colours.
Our program helps build self-confidence, encourages social play, helps develop fine and gross muscles. And an excellent excuse for bonding time with your little one.
Messy play is a necessity to help your little one develop all learning areas. A child from as young as 5 months can engage in messy play.
Children and adults should dress comfortably, as all classes are floor based. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty and stained as classes are MESSY! FunkyKidz and the instructors are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Adult and children’s aprons are available for purchase.
Terms and conditions
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety of children at FunkyKidz. FunkyKidz and their instructors cannot be held reasonable for any injuries incurred during class.
I agree that my child will take part in all activities at my own child’s risk.
Payment and booking
Payment needs to be made upfront, your spot is only booked once your payment has been made to the instructor and you have received confirmation from them.

1. Learning to cook is an essential life skill. 2. Learning to cook empowers kids to be more independent. 3. Cooking is an outlet for creativity. 4. Cooking encourages healthy eating. They are more likely to eat what they’ve had a
hand in preparing. 5. Cooking introduces kids to a variety of fresh foods and interesting ways of preparing
and cooking those ingredients. 6. Cooking teaches language skills (cooking vocab like sauté and simmer), maths
(measuring, weighing, fractions), and science (by mixing bicarb and acid and heat, the cake rises).
7. Kids learn how to read and follow step by step instructions. 8. It’s fun.
Encourage the child’s interest and even excitement in healthy foods by teaching them how to cook safely with a guide of age-appropriate kitchen activities. In our Little Chefz play classes, we teach our kids how to cook and eat healthy meals and how to work safely and hygienically in the Kitchen. All this is done in a fun, relaxed and safe environment. They then get to eat these lovely healthy meals that they have prepared. We offer these classes once a week. Our programme helps build self-confidence, independence and helps with Academics in Science (mixing bicarb, acid and Heat), Maths, (measuring weighing, fractions), and English language skills, (cooking vocab like sauté and simmer) etc. Little Chefz Play is a necessity to help your little ones become creative, independent and confident in the kitchen. We cater for kids form 2 ½ years to 12 years of age. Adults and children’s aprons are available for purchase.

FunkyKidz is looking for energetic ladies that have a love for children. We are looking for ladies that want to make some money on a part time or full time basis whilst having FUN! We need ladies in all areas all over SA.

FunkyKidz Educational Classes offer 3 different types of classes.
Messy Play – 4months – 8 years. In this class you provide sensportpathic activities, these activities help develop all learning areas.
Active Play – 2 years – 10 years. In this class you provide activities which help develop their large muscle skills, these skills are needed for climbing, running etc.
Little Chefz Play – 3 – 12 years. In this class you teach a lifelong life skill. Everyone needs to learn to cook, so why not teach them from little?
We all know that these classes are a necessity in early childhood learning.
There is huge money to be made with very little capital lay out.
There are many ways to offer messy play classes in your areas
In the comfort of your own homes At the day cares and preschools in your area Offering messy play parties Hosting once off messy play mornings Messy play holiday clubs
These are just to mention a few.
Classes are between 45 minutes to an hour long.
We charge R50 per child per lesson. If you have 10 in a class that’s R500 an hour!
Just 5 classes a week (5 working hours a week) you make R2500 a week that’s R10 000 a month (easy work for a nice income)
There are many ways to offer Active Play classes in your areas
In the comfort of your own homes At the day cares and preschools in your area Offering Active Play parties Hosting once off Active Play mornings Active Play holiday clubs
These are just to mention a few.
Classes are between 30 minutes to 45 minutes long.
We charge R30 per child per lesson. If you have 10 in a class that’s R300 for 30 minutes of work!
Just 5 classes a week (5 working hours a week) you make R1500 a week that’s R6000 a month (easy work for a nice income)
There are many ways to offer Little Chefz Play classes in your areas
In the comfort of your own homes At the day cares and preschools in your area Offering Little Chefz Play parties Hosting once off cooking class mornings Cooking class holiday clubs
These are just to mention a few.
Classes are about an hour long.
We charge R70 per child per lesson. If you have 10 in a class that’s R700 an hour!
Just 5 classes a week (5 working hours a week) you make R3500 a week that’s R14 000 a month (easy work for a nice income)
Remember the more hours you put in the more you will get out!
You can offer classes for one, two or for all 3 activities.
We know times are tough so we want to make this affordable!
The cost of the start-up package is R500 (per activity) – this includes your curriculum, how to run classes and all the advertising materials etc. You purchase a franchise for your area, so you buy your area, you will then be the only instructor in that area for that activity. Please note WE DO NOT SUPPLY THE EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR THE CLASSES.
Your clients pay you directly.
An area is only secured once your paperwork and start up payment is done!

Then it’s R600 a month there after. This is your monthly fee. Did you know that we are the only company of its kind that actually offers you a service for your monthly fee?
For your monthly fee you will get, advertising, on-going support, advertising and child related materials (digital), this fee is also for the use of our curriculum, our name and for your area.
If you do all 3 activities your monthly fee is R1600 a month and not R1800 (you save R200 a month)

Registering with the department:
We have a list of requirements that one would need to go though in order to register with them. Together we will go through this list. If there are any costs involved these costs are for the business owner – most of the time there are no costs involved! You also only have to register your school when you have 6 or more children. Registering your school is not as hard as it sounds! We will help you.
