Higher Education in the spotlight with Financial Enablers
Future Minds, the Higher Education HubFuture Minds 2019 takes pride in encompassing the global village of higher education into a single exhibition entailinga one stop shop concept which facilitates the students and their families with a comprehensive range of services required to complete their higher education aspirations. With the extensive relationships built with the Higher Education Fraternity and the trust placed in the expo by the student community Future Minds is set to create a highly productive exchange on all that is Higher Education yet again in 2019.
Financial Zone empowering students with enhanced Higher Education prospectsSolid financing is the backbone of a well-functioning highereducation system which is of paramount importance for a low-middle income country like Sri Lanka. The lack of financing is a dominant criterion for the low percentage of tertiary educated population. Future Minds has successfully leaped towards creating a financial zone, as the next phase of student facilitation towards Higher Education. The zone fulfils a long-felt necessity of supporting the student’s financial requirements to reach their aspirations of tertiary education. Introducing financial empowerment for higher education within the exhibition has bridged the key missing pillar in realizing a student’s aspirations.
Career Counselling driven forumCareer Counselling has become a game changer for Future Minds, creating an enabling environment for students to identify their emotional intelligence, cognitive abilities and inherent personal traits. The target audience for the highly successful career counselling sessions are students studying for Ordinary Level examinations up to Advanced Level examination. On arrival, the students would undergo a
psychometric test followed by 1-1 counselling by professional counsellors and Industry veterans providing students career guidance in any aspect. Industry experts share knowledge and experience relating their particular field and function and discuss educational options required and expected by organizations related to the particular function of the industry expert. Future Minds invites industry experts covering many functions and fields such as HR, Banking & Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics etc. An orderly oriented student then enters the exhibition floor stepping in to a most effective higher education journey.
Family centric Career Planning Students are encouraged to visit the exhibition with the family as experience illustrates many benefits in visiting the expo as a family unit. Parental guidance, increased awareness of financing options and costs, and more space for committing to a decision on a higher education option are some of the observed desirable effects. Attracting family units to the expo will also be an objective and relevant aspects will be geared towards this end.
Future Minds 2019 entails a multi-pronged promotional campaign The core of our promotional campaign centres around mainstream electronic and print media expo which would continue to be our primary medium to reach the masses. Our publicity campaign would leverage and highlight on the key points of strategic importance emphasising on Career Counselling, Family centric approach and financial zone. The format of Future Minds covering major metropolitan hubs of the island will be continued in Colombo at the BMICH, in Kandy at the KCC and in Galle at Hall De Galle covering a total of 7 days offering extensive opportunity to market products offered by our clients. As Future Minds surges through on this second decade, we offer these attractive prospects and look forward to strengthening the ties between us and our long-standing clients while creating the most synergetic platform on higher education in 2018.
