Participants came from over a dozen countries and represented more than thirty NGOs, academic institutions, and multi-national organizations. discussing how to strengthen enforcement mechanisms. The Forum also featured an interactive “World Café”, during which time attendees came together to brainstorm and vote on new, innovative solutions to issues and implemented throughout 2014. With organizational assistance from IC Volunteers and the Earth Focus Foundation, the FHR Forum in Geneva validated the need for a platform to discuss new initiatives to strengthen international human rights standards. Hosted at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG), the Forum saw over 300 individuals in attendance. The December FHR Forum included a full day of panel discussions with human rights experts of concern. Some of these projects will be taken up by individuals and NGOs and FHR Forum wishes to thank all those who attended the December 2013 Forum, and looks forward to working with you in the future and seeing you at the 2014 Forum! Looking Ahead to 2014 The FHR Forum is planning an ambitious program for the coming year! FHR Forum will continue working to create a platform for increased civil society cooperation on issues of human rights and environmental concern. In this regard, FHR Forum is extremely proud to announce its upcoming Communications Assistance Project (CAP). The CAP project seeks to target individuals living in countries with environmental or human rights crises. Working closely with partner organizations on-the-ground, FHR Forum will provide material assistance and technical support to vulnerable youth in order to improve their communications capacities and maximize visibility for their concerns. In this way, FHR Forum seeks to re- engage the disenfranchised into the process of creating a fairer and more responsive international system.

2013 Forum Success FHR Forum is pleased to announce the successful launch of its inaugural Forum this past Human Rights Day.

 Participants came from over a dozen countries and represented more than thirty NGOs, academic institutions, and multi-national organizations.            discussing how to strengthen enforcement mechanisms.
