During an internship with SF designer

Rick Lee, I had the opportunity to work

with local artisans from Chinas bamboo

region who shared a common visionof sustainability and design. Working

solely with bamboo, I designed and

developed original works that are

In Northern Italy it was common to see clothes hung out to dry between houses. During the harsh winter

months though, clothes would freeze out on the line so many would drape them over the bathtub. In

modern times, with limited space and an increasing need to save energy, we can take a simple solution from

the past and apply it to today. For example, drying clothes over the bathtub is a zero-energy alternative to

using electric dryers. Aria is Italian for air, the only ingredient youll need to make this product work.
