1. Overviews

For the past couple of years, GARNOC.com has been taking approaches such as

database cooperation and field study, in creating comprehensive reports with respect to

the strength of Mainland China general aviation enterprises (excluding Hong Kong,

Macau, or Taiwan). Such reports include three main sections: strength of Mainland China

general aviation enterprises, strength of general aviation airplane manufacturers, and

strength of general aviation airplane engine manufacturers.

GARNOC.com publishes Reports on the Strength of Mainland China General

Aviation Enterprises, with the goals of offering first-hand materials for the development of

China’s general aviation, as well as providing references for cooperation, aircraft

purchasing and maintenance by general aviation enterprises. We will continue to publish

relevant periodic data analysis reports in the future.

5.1. About us

General Aviation Resource Net Of China (GARNOC) was founded in 2012 as general

aviation section of Chinese Aviation Resource Net Of China(CARNOC.com), the largest

website for Chinese civil aviation. The information on GARNOC covers a wide range of

topics in general aviation including industry policy, news, observation, data and analysis,

companies, map etc. GARNOC strives to become the comprehensive information platform

for general aviation.

In 2013, GARNOC established collaborative partnership with 152 general aviation

5.2. Data Definition

Data Definition in This Report：

This report covers only general aviation companies and airplanes from Mainland

China, not those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Leased aircrafts operated

outside of the Mainland China are not included.

The address of an aviation company is the place where its corporate headquarter is

registered. The address of an aircrafts is the place where its owner company is

registered.

There is no clear differentiation between purchasing and leasing an aircraft, but there

is a clear identification of self-operated and entrusted operation.

The total worth equals quantity times individual aircraft price

The aircraft price was the average of its public list prices in RMB, tax not included.

The data was updated till March, 2014.

In addition to acquiring data from aircraft manufacturers, we also welcome

Chinese general aviation companies, aircraft manufactures, and engine

manufactures provide timely information and data, which CARNOC will share

with every company.
