GENERAL RULES

1. Registrations can be done using the Google form link for

each event. Registrations will be closing on 24th

October,2020 for Cryptic Hunt, and on 26thOctober, 2020 for

the remaining events.

1. This event is an individual event open to all students of a registeredschool.

2. All participants must join the discord server for Matrix MindCraft. Schools

4. Cryptic Hunt will span over 48 hours, commencing at 0000hrs on

25thOctober 2020. All participants will have to try and solve as many

stages aspossible.

5. The platform for the hunt will be released on the day of the event.

6. On logging into their account, participants will land on the first question.

They must solve the standing question to proceed to the nextone.

8. All important information and hints for this event will be released

9. Cross teaming is strictly prohibited. If evidence is found, the participants

GAMING COMPETITION (PC)

“May the best gamer win”

1. Prelims will be BO1(best of 1) elimination bracket format will be of the

teams in the competition

2. The match will be played in a custom lobby with no cheats and overtime

enabled

3. The match will be spectated by 2 people one for live stream and the other

for anti-cheat purposes.

4. Top 4 teams will go for semifinals with BO3 format.

5. Match mode for eliminations will be spike rush, semifinals and finals will

be competitive mode.

6. This tournament will be live streamed on YouTube, the channel and

timings will be released later, on our official discord server.

7. The awards will be given on the basis of final position of the team and the

MVP player.

respective school in the subject line of the mail.

3. Along with the YT link of the edited video participants are also supposed to send

the project file of their edited video as well as the links of all the raw clips that they

have used. This is to make sure that no plagiarized content such as fan edits occupy

the major portion of their edited video. Participants will be disqualified if their

edited video is found to majorly comprise of fan edits.

4. Participants will be judged on the basis of their idea, storyline, A/V sync and how

coinciding their edited video is, with their respective theme.

QUIZZARD “Come, Quiz, Conquer”

4. The quiz will be time bound.

5. In case of a tie in the Prelims round, star marked questions present in

extra questioning round in case of a tie.

DIORAMA “Your image is our focus.”

Rules:

1. This competition involves photography as well as an advertising segment.

2. The participants have to create a digital brochure with original photographs.

3. The brochure must contain 2 original photographs clicked by the participants.

a) The Photographs must be clicked recently.

b) Only basic in-cam editing is allowed.

c) The photographs can be coloured or monochrome.

d) Only ‘DSLR’ cameras are allowed else the images won’t be accepted.

e) Pictures are to be clicked using the ‘MANUAL MODE’ of the DSLR; any

picture clicked through the ‘AUTO MODE’ will not be accepted and will lead

to disqualification.

f) The photographs being used in the brochure must also be submitted

individually in JPEG format.

g) Plagiarized and inappropriate photographs are totally unacceptable. In such a

case the school holds the authority to discard any picture to their discretion.

4. The digital brochure must include 3 pages.

a) According to the topic given, the participant must create a brand name for

which the brochure will be designed.

b) the advertising of the brand must be convincing and attractive and should

contain the details of the same.

c) A logo for the hypothetical brand must be made by the participant.

d) Other extra components can be added to the digital brochure as well.

e) The digital brochure can be submitted in a PDF or JPEG format.

Designing

1. Participants will have to design a novel product by choosing any one of

the given topics.

2. Participants then have to pitch in a business idea for the product

designed by them.

3. The business pitch should take into account factors like feasibility, uses,

creativity, target customers and cost of production of the product

designed. The product should be presented innovatively so as to appeal

to the target customers.

4. Only PowerPoint presentations will be accepted.

5. All the presentations to be made in MS PowerPoint 2010 or lower, with

minimum 12 slides and maximum 15 slides (including credits)

6. Points will be deducted for exceeding this limit on slides.

7. The subject of the email should be the name of the school.

8. The name of the file should be saved as the name of the product

designed.

9. The name of the school should not be mentioned in the PowerPoint

Presentation submitted by the school.
