• Born on July 12, 1854, in Waterville, NY

• George had two sisters, and mom and a dad.

• Both of his sisters died when he was 16.

• His parents died not long after Georges sisters.

• George went to school at London University and RIT.

• George provided funds for clinics in London and other European city’s.

INVENTION FACTS• George invented the first hand held camera, the Kodak.

• George Eastman was the first man to make the camera hand held.

• George opened a company called the dry plate Eastman company.

• The Kodak camera has been selling from 1888 to 2015.
