The Industrial Power Control (IPC) range from Infineon encompasses IGBT, thyristors, and diode modules, as well as driver ICs, Intelligent Power Modules (IPM) and boards. Target markets and applications are industrial drives, renewable energies, rail-bound vehicles, uninterruptible power supplies, hybrid and electric vehicles, and also increasingly electrically-powered commercial and agricultural vehicles. One highlight in the Infineon IPC range is IGBT5 and .XT as a new era in IGBT chip and inter- connection technologies. IGBT5 allows higher power density, whereas the new interconnection technology .XT extends lifetime by increased thermal and power cycling capabilities. The HybridPACK™ IGBT modules, which are AECQ101 qualified for automotive use, offer a cost- optimized and compact design with PressFIT connectors and threaded main connectors for easy and secure connection. The product range available for delivery from Rutronik also now includes Infineon‘s easy, Econo, and 62mm product ranges. In the high-power segment, Rutronik provides customers with the PrimePACK™ and IHM/IHV modules, with which Infineon has set industrial bench- marks worldwide. Many products are available with pre-applied Thermal Interface Material (TIM). This enables the significant reduction of contact resistance between the metal contacts of the power semiconductor and heatsink, thereby facilitating heat transfer. This in turn increases the service life and reliability of the modules. This guide provides a quick overview of Infineon´s Industrial and Automotive Modules. Rutronik presents Industrial Power Control Solutions from Infineon

Rutronik provides IGBT, thyristor and diode modules, enabling customers to acquire the full range of the Infineon portfolio from Rutronik.

The Industrial Power Control (IPC) range from Infineon encompasses IGBT, thyristors, and diode modules, as well as driver ICs, Intelligent Power Modules (IPM) and boards. Target markets and applications are industrial drives, renewable energies, rail-bound vehicles, uninterruptible power supplies, hybrid and electric vehicles, and also increasingly electrically-powered commercial and agricultural vehicles.

One highlight in the Infineon IPC range is IGBT5 and .XT as a new era in IGBT chip and inter-connection technologies. IGBT5 allows higher power density, whereas the new interconnection technology .XT extends lifetime by increased thermal and power cycling capabilities.

The HybridPACK™ IGBT modules, which are AECQ101 qualified for automotive use, offer a cost-optimized and compact design with PressFIT connectors and threaded main connectors for easy and secure connection. The product range available for delivery from Rutronik also now includes Infineon‘s easy, Econo, and 62mm product ranges. In the high-power segment, Rutronik provides customers with the PrimePACK™ and IHM/IHV modules, with which Infineon has set industrial bench-marks worldwide. Many products are available with pre-applied Thermal Interface Material (TIM). This enables the significant reduction of contact resistance between the metal contacts of the power semiconductor and heatsink, thereby facilitating heat transfer. This in turn increases the service life and reliability of the modules.
