Hi, Im excited to invite you to participate in a very exclusive, week-long How to Cash In on Your Inspiration workshop being held in a magical little village in Southern France this coming August 25th September 1st.

To ensure that youll receive the level of attention that you deserve, this workshop will be limited to only 7 people.

The workshop fee is $799.00, which includes daily sessions with me as outlined below, as well as a healthy welcome dinner and an authentically French crepe breakfast on the first morning.

This fee does not include your room, food, or transportation costs.

Why Southern France?

I NEVER expected to ever be in the South of France!

However, with a book deadline approaching, on a whim I applied and was accepted at La Muse for a 3-week residency program a few years ago. While there I worked on writing my book Idea to Invention: What You Need to Know to Cash In on Your Inspiration. My days were sprinkled with writing, hiking, cooking, socializing, side trips, and painting alongside other writers, filmmakers and artists from around the world. As I focused on my project and myself, ideas poured out of me.

I can honestly say that the experience changed my life.

That is why Im so excited to be able to share this special, mesmerizing place with you. Its an environment that supports creativity and fosters inspiration. The location is an integral component of this workshop. La Muse is normally only available to established writers or artists who have gone through an application process. Your participation in this workshop eliminates the application/acceptance process its your key into this very special, exclusive place of creativity.

Workshop description: Come with an idea in mind, many ideas, or learn how to come up with an idea. I will teach you how to turn your idea(s) into profitable products in the most timely and cost-effective way. You will be in the company of creative peers. We will brainstorm in small groups every afternoon using round table conversations to push, focus, and steer each other. My sessions will provide guidelines to follow and actionable steps to take throughout the invention process.

You will have free time to get your creative juices flowing each morning. Take this time to work on your project or walk around the beautiful neighborhood, do some yoga, meditate, write in your journal or blog, take some pictures, or spend time in the art studio painting or sketching. It is in these moments of non-distracted pleasure that ideas flow into your brain. Evenings can be spent working, socializing or simply relaxing in the comfortable library room.

Calliope $826 -Calliope is a double room with its own private living room as well as and ensuite spa bathroom (a deep, long tub with a view of the valley and a separate walk-in shower, all newly renovated). The salon is well-furnished sitting room with two desks,a twin-bed settee, two large French windows overlooking the valley, and a wood-burning stove in a marble fireplace for your use. The bedroom also has a valley view. The room is a quiet haven with a queen-size bed. It is also on the first floor. Buy Now

Erato $599 - The room has an ensuite bathroom with a tub, shower and toilet, and a window looking south. The room also has two tall windows facing west over the valley and a decorative marble fireplace. Full size double bed. Buy Now

Clio $548 Clio is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (tub, shower and toilet) as well as a decorative fireplace. It also has two tall French windows, which overlook the valley. Full size double bed. Buy Now

Thalia $548 The room has a newly renovated walk-in en-suite shower. This room shares a toilet across the hall with two other rooms. Full size double bed. Buy Now

Euterpe $548 The room shares a toilet with Melpomene and Thalia. (There are two other public toilets in the house.) Full size double bed. Buy Now

Melpomene $486 - The room is furnished with antiques and a very comfortable love seat. The shower and toilet are just down the hall. (There are two other public toilets in the house.) Full size double bed. Buy Now

Urania $435 - Urania is the only room, other than Calliope, that has a queen double instead of a full size double bed. It also has a decorative fireplace, and two large windows overlooking the valley. The room has its own hallway and exclusive use of a toilet in this hall. It shares the shower upstairs with one other room. Buy Now

Transportation: not included.

Food: A trip to the supermarket is included in the optional ride package for 100 Euros. (Details below.) Cook your own food in the large convenient group kitchen. You can also buy food from the grocery and bread trucks that come up to La Muse a couple times per week. Restaurants are an option too, but the nearest one is roughly a 20-minute walk.

Extra fees/options: Professional yoga (inquire price), massage (60 Euros/hr. order 2 weeks ahead), hiking guides (inquire price) and must-see side trips such as Lastours and La Cite (50 Euros per person each trip.) A ride package is available at a discounted price of 100 Euros per person. (Includes arrival pickup in Carcassonne and a stop for groceries on the way up the mountain, and departure drop off.) This is a good choice if you arent renting a car.
