I believe Australia has a great future. For every Australian, this should be our land of hope, where we can seek real rewards and more opportunities to get ahead and build a better life for ourselves and our families.

Losing hope

As I go around Australia, I see the families, theworkers, and the small business people who are the backbone of the nation, losing hope. With rising cost of living pressures they are falling behind and going backwards. They feel as though they are forgotten and being taken for granted. And that’s not good enough. Australians deserve better.

Labor’s lost its way

This Labor government has lost its way and Australia is heading in the wrong direction with an increasingly incompetent government.

Page 3: Getting Australia Back on Track

It’s forgotten about people like you: people who work hard and do the right thing but are struggling with rising cost of living pressures, higher taxes, and now a great big new carbon tax that threatens jobs and living standards.

No reward or opportunity to get ahead

With rising taxes and rising cost of living pressures there doesn’t appear to be any reward for working hard and doing the right thing. For many people the rewards aren’t there. Opportunities to get ahead aren’t there. Life is getting harder. Australians are losing hope. And that’s not good enough. It’s bad government.

Standing up for the Forgotten People

The Liberals have always stood up for the Forgotten People when Labor governments have gone off the rails.

The Menzies Government stood up for the Forgotten People and got Australia back on track when Labor wanted to nationalise the banks. The Fraser Government got Australia back on track after Whitlam had wrecked the economy. And the Howard Government got Australia back on track after Keating turned his back on the values of middle Australia. Today another Labor government has lost its way.

Restoring Hope, Reward, Opportunity

Every Australian has the right to good government and the right to hope, reward and opportunity.

You expect to be rewarded for your efforts. You expect that you’ll be better off tomorrow than you are today, provided you do the right thing. That’s what Liberal governments believe. We believe in hope. We believe in reward.

We believe in opportunity. That’s what I believe in and that’s what I fight for... your right to hope, real rewards and more opportunities to get ahead and build a better life.

The Liberals will restore hope, reward and opportunity for working hard and doing the right thing. We will help Australians to get ahead and build a better life for you and your families.

Let’s get Australia back on track.

As I go around Australia, I see the families, the workers, and the small business people who are the backbone of the nation, losing hope. Australians deserve better.

Labor’s lost its way

This Labor government has lost its way and Australia is heading in the wrong direction with an incompetent government.

It’s forgotten about people like you: people who work hard and do the right thing but are struggling with rising costs of living, higher taxes, and now a great big new carbon tax that threatens jobs and future living standards.

interest rates are the forgotten people and the forgotten workers.

These are the forgotten people who work hard, and try to do the right thing, to get ahead and build a better life for themselves and their families. These are the people who deserve our support. Labor has failed them.

Standing up for the forgotten people

The Liberals have always stood up for these forgotten people when a Labor government has lost its way.

The Menzies Government stood up for the forgotten people and got Australia back on track when Labor lost its way and wanted to nationalise the banks. We will restore hope, reward and opportunity

The Liberals will restore hope, reward and opportunity for working hard and doing the right thing.

Every Australian has a right to hope, reward and opportunity. You expect to be rewarded for your efforts. You expect that you’ll be better off tomorrow than you are today, provided you do the right thing.

We will help Australians to get ahead and build a better life for themselves and their families.

A Coalition government will get Australia back on the right track and stand up for the forgotten families, the forgotten people of Australia.

Page 10: Getting Australia Back on Track

We have a plan

I have a plan for Australia’s future. It’s a plan of hope, reward and opportunity for all of us.

Every Australian has a right to hope, reward and opportunity. You expect to be rewarded for your efforts. You expect that you’ll be better off tomorrow than you are today, provided you do the right thing.

Hope

I believe in giving hope to families struggling with rising cost of living pressures.

That’s why we’ll scrap Labor’s great big new carbon tax and we’ll protect your private health insurance rebate. That’s why we will take pressure off interest rates by ending Labor’s wasteful spending and by repaying Labor’s debt.

Reward

I believe in rewarding people who do the right thing and work hard to help their family get ahead.

That’s why we will keep taxes lower. We will provide education rebates. And we will provide supporting allowances for families.

Together, we will get Australia back on track.

Opportunity

I believe in opportunity, in providing more opportunities for people to improve their living standard and to build a better life.

That’s why we will provide better access to health services at a local level. We will build serious infrastructure. And we will cut red tape for small business and boost apprenticeships and skills training.

The future

I have a plan for Australia’s future. It’s a plan of hope, reward and opportunity for all of us.

The Liberals will restore hope, reward and opportunity for working hard and doing the right thing.

We will help Australians to get ahead and build a better life for themselves and their families.

Let’s get Australia back on the right track.
