b) IntroductionCongratulations on your new career path. There is a lot to learn in the next few weeks and months. But whatever you reason for joining Alphay is, its success will distill down to learning how to do two basic network-building skills:

1. inviting people to join Alphay as a powerful career move2. inviting people to use Alphay Lingzhi as a powerful health change

...and then teaching those two skills to your team.

This training is about learning these two network-building skills that

lead to success.

Your pace. Your goal.You can learn these two skills at whatever pace you want. You can take 18 months to match your current income and lifestyle. You can take 7 years.

You decide how much you want to make. Over the next decade,

• some will create commissions that range from $10 a month to $450,000 a month & more.

• some will stay a few months and quit; others will stay and prosper for decades.

The difference in commission size and length of career will not hinge on “if my friends and family join me” or not. Imagine if any business owner relied only on their current network of known people.

Success in Alphay doesn’t depend on luck, from “sure hope this works!”

Success requires something deeper: a desire that burns, a dream that wakes them up, a vision that urges them on. Nothing else can create the willpower needed to get beyond all excuses and obstacles.

Your First 30-Day Focus: Get to P3There are two important facts to know right at the beginning, because they are very time-sensitive, and they cause you to make a lot more money:

1. Enroll at the 15% Status Level 2. Set your first goal as getting the Power3 in your first 30 days

15% Status LevelIf you are involved in Alphay as a Distributor, you’ll want to enroll at the 15% Status Level. At the 10% or 5% Status Levels, you earn 1/3 or 2/3 less commissions on your weekly Placement Team bonus.

To understand 15% Status Level, watch the compensation plan videos on Lingzhi Academy training site.

If you need to come in at 5% ($249) or 10% ($499), just be very aware of your 8-week limit on upgrading to 15%. Write that date down in your calendar, and let your sponsor know it, too.

The difference in commissions between coming in at the 15% Status and the next lowest—10% Status—is large. Be sure you know what you're leaving on the table, and the effect it can have with your own Distributors that you bring into your network.

The first goal: Power3In your first 30 calendar days since you signed up, your main goal is to get Power3.

Power3 (also called simply P3) is signing up 3 Distributors & 3 Customers in your first 30 days.

P3 is also the building block in Aphay’s “30-60-90 Day” rewards (also known as the QuickStart, read the full details at the last pages of this training). By accomplishing this, you get an extra cash bonus, up to $100 per PSD you sign in those first 30 days. It also sets you up to win an iPad in your second month, and an 13-inch MacBook Air in your third month.

Example: if you bring in a 15% Status Level PSD, you earn over $230. Imagine bringing in three.

Extra cash aside, the real advantage of the P3 is:

• You can then win an iPad in Month 2, and a MacBook Air in Month 3 (see Quick Start, last page)

• it teaches the basics: how to find business builders & customers, the entire key to your success

• it teaches you to immediately focus your own PSDs on Power3 themselves in their first 30 days

PreparationStart with your Dream

People often start out in Alphay believing that their success will hinge on whether their friends and family join them in Alphay.

Fortunately, that isn’t true. Because believing that would mean that if your friends and family don’t join you in Alphay, then you will fail.

People who succeed in Alphay do so because they have a dream much, much bigger than friends and family. That dream forces them to take action steps that would've otherwise scared them, and kept them playing small and safe.

Whatever reason you have for joining Alphay: achieving that will all hinge on your ability to create a vision in your mind of what you want your life to be like in a few years, not on whether this person or that person says yes or no.

You success over the next 3-6 years will not depend on whether your friends and family join this journey. Instead, will depend on the strength of this vision.

Any of the Builder Packs (5%, 10%, or 15%) come with a copy of Alphay’s Ecosystem Manual. Read and do do the dream section in the first few pages. Work and mold and strengthen this vision often, so that your vision pulls you forward.

Your job: build a networkImagine that Alphay has decided to straight out hire you as a spokesperson to spread the word on Alphay. They are paying you a $100,000 salary, starting tomorrow morning.

How would you describe your job? Are you a consumer, looking for other consumers? Are you a spokesperson, finding skilled people who also want a better career? Are you a salesperson? A promoter? A part-timer? Do you work whenever the feeling strikes? Or do you wake each morning, with a plan of action? Do you give talks on Alphay’s business and products?

How would you define your job, and your daily/weekly actions, so that by the end of the year, you felt worthy of your salary, and had thousands of people using the product and hundreds of others doing what you’re doing?

Answering the questions above will give you good idea on how to go about achieving your dream. If your dream is $500 a month, strictly finding customers and talking only to people you already know may be all it takes.

If your goal is much bigger, then your job is to get good at both finding and speaking about both aspects of Alphay: Consumers and Business Builders.

Who is the idea person you’re looking for? Diamond Distributor

The ideal business builder is someone we call a “Diamond Distributor.” —

• comes in at 15% Status Level

• hungry for more in life: more $$, more purpose, more direction, a brighter future, a platform that utilizes all their life skills.

You want 3-5 of these Diamond Distributors.

By definition, each Diamond Distributor:

• finds 3-5 other Diamond Distributors

• each has around 10 Customers

A Diamond Distributor is someone looking for Diamond Distributors.

Regular DistributorsIn your search for Diamond Distributors, you will find mainly “Regular Distributors” —

• Part timers

• Gamblers, who see Alphay more as a lottery than a career

• Tend to not improve their people skills and life skills, relying instead on existing limits of identity and existing sense of self

• Often give up after talking with existing friends, family, and colleagues

• Often afraid of success, of wealth, of wanting more, of what people think of them, of objections, of failure.

Finding lots of Regular Distributors is normal, and good, and just the way it is. Besides,

• Regular Distributors will make up a big part of your volume

• Regular Distributors often create Diamonds deep in network

• Regular Distributors can transform into Diamond Distributors

Just always remember: you are looking for Diamond Distributors.

Diamond Distributors are the fastest way to wealth, and the strongest way to build an organization that will last for decades.

Make a ListWork from a list of people whose lives you want to change.

Your Potential Team Candidates list is the key to your success. Work from a list of people whose lives you want to change. Get the names out of your head and down on paper. Think of everyone you know who would might benefit from our Lingzhi formulas, or would benefit from Alphay’s career opportunity.

To get into the flow, write down everyone, even the people you’re absolutely 100% certain will not be good candidates for the health benefits or the business.

The Four Animal Types — which kind of person they areWhale -> Searching to help others & the world; uplifter. Show Alphay’s heart, soul, and people.Dolphin -> Searching for freedom, fun, recognition. Optimistic; loves talking, people, natural leaders.Urchin -> Searching for truth, details, proof of purity. Show the math, methods and $$ calculations.Shark -> Loves money, business, status, Show Alphay’s comp plan and how stable they are.

The Four Categories You Want1. "I'd love to work with that Person" list

• These are people who make you think, “I would really love to partner with that person. • We'd have so much fun (if they're a Dolphin). • We'd make so much money (if they're a Shark). • We'd change people's lives worldwide (if they're mainly a Whale). • The specs on Alphay's products and list of qualities about Alphay are exactly what they've been

looking for (if they're an Urchin).

2. “This person would be so good at Alphay's opportunity" list • These are people who are natural networkers, business-centric, great people skills, familiar with

network marketing.

3. "This person really needs Alphay's opportunity and/or products" list• Tired of their career, desiring wealth, desiring another lifestyle.

4. "I met this person" list • Strangers, whom you have now met. This can be one of the richest places to tap.

Categorize your List into A, B, and C teams: A team ------- those who are the first you’ll contact. You’re most excited about these people.

B team ------- those you’ll contact a month or three, once you really develop your skills.

C team ------- these are your ‘later’ people. You’ll contact them once you’re making a lot of money, maybe even never. But they’re in your list.

This Getting Started Training revolves around these steps:

Yes: get signed as 15% Status Level, and scheduled for next LL Training. - start creating their Potential Lifestyle Candidates list

4. Training - Live video conference Business Orientation. Takes one hour. Attend multiple times.

Create a short scriptYou’ve got your List of potential candidates. You’ve got a start of a vision of where you want to be. You even have your first month’s goal of at least 3 PSDs and 3 Customers. Now... what do you say to people? Or what do you show them?

What do you say?Building a network means you’ll be contacting people about the products and about the business. Sometimes both at the same time, sometimes completely separately.

To do that effectively, it helps to know what you’ll say. Call it your script, or job description, or 30 second pitch. An email, a live conversation, a phone call, an impromptu meeting.

Create enough rapport with each potential business prospect so that you can communicate some semblance of the following: "not sure if the timing is right for you, but I have an idea, a proposal I want you to look at. Watch this video, http://youtu.be/6THNyCQQdg4 ; if it sparks any interest, let's talk."

The key with any communication is to use the words that are yours. The minute you speak in someone else's rhythm and tone, you lose people. Invitations and contact scripts are for clarity, not manipulation. So find your cadence, your words, and use those.

Pick and choose and mix and match from below. Just don't do a lot more than tell them you're in a new business direction and want them to watch this video. 

One at a time, as if you were interviewing them for a job—invite these candidates with an invitation like this (or some variation of it): Where are you at in your career, Amy? ...... How is that going.... are you wanting more? Would you like to work together? I don't know if Bob mentioned it...  I have a proposition for you to consider... "Don't know if I mentioned it, but I have a whole new direction in my career. After 30 years as a ...., I'm now going online and international, and joined a team. We should talk. Take a look. Let me know if it sparks any interest. It'd be so fun to work together on this one. May not be for you, but you'd be good at this.... Let me know if it sparks any interest or questions. I want to change gears: I don't know if you knew this, but for the past few years, I've been looking for another career. I'm so fed up with ____________ (having no money, a predetermined check, having a boss, being told what to do, no time freedom). (Dig deep, find the things you really are fed up with in your life. Say that). I've really gotten tired of ___________________ (your career name), and the limitations.I’m thinking about getting started with a business I can run from my home. ... “I found a new direction I’m really excited about, but what do I know? Nice meeting you. I didn't think of it last night, but after seeing your business card this morning...I'm wondering if you'd be interested in working together. I started a new career move xx months ago. The team that 'hired' me is the group I've been looking for for years. It may not be your cup of tea, but watch this video...

Thirty days comes and goes quickly. Set your goal —3 and 3—and then start contacting your people.

You are looking for two types of people:

1. Customers—people in need of better health2. Business Builders—people interested in more (money, better career, more freedom, etc)

Then, using your List, start inviting. You’re going to go through the 4 Steps to network creation:

1. Invitation Invite potential candidates to look at Alphay as a career (use any of the videos)

2. Leadership Q&A Introduce each candidate to the Upline on a live video conference for Q&A

3. Decision Help them (and you) get to a yes, no, or maybe.

Step 1. InviteInvite potential candidates to look at Alphay as a career (use any of the videos)

Divide your list into people you want to contact about the Alphay opportunity and Customers.

For your potential business candidates, follow the 4 steps below.

Invite Business BuildersYour process with names on your List who you believe could be potential business builders has 4 basic steps:

You can email them, call them, bump into them, whatever you believe will work for you.

Use a video to explain what Alphay is, . Also, people you know won’t believe YOU more than they’ll believe someone who’s been at this longer than you.

EmailOne at a time, invite potential team candidates to review one of the Alphay overview videos currently out there (see the list at the end of this training).

NOTE:

- Use a video for at least part of your invitation. Avoid trying to over explain what Alphay is. Use the video to talk for you.

- One at a time. No blasting on Facebook, or to multiple people at once. You are looking at one candidate at a time.

Response back

After a candidate watches the video and hears why you’re involved and why you believe they’d be a good candidate, if they have any objections, questions, ideas, critiques, doubts, sarcasms, OR excitement.... whatever, their response, the next step of the process is Step 2: Meet the Team.

Hear their response (positive or negative), and then say "These are great questions/concerns. The next step of this process is to meet the team. I'm too new to answer all that, but my team can. Let's set up a time to meet them."

Have them give you a couple times, email them to your Leadership team (your sponsor, upline, etc), and they will email back a time that works, along with the video conference call link.

No response? Get Closure.

If one of your candidates doesn't respond back within a few days, get closure.

Closure is done so that both of you can get a solid no or yes, and so that the relationship can move forward, regardless of the answer. Closure is an important human condition that closes open

communication loops. It's extremely important, professionally, and even more important for the friendship. A solid "no" is a great thing, and it's important the candidate know you appreciate that Alphay's not right for everyone.

Some closure options, depending on the context/person: "Hi Eric, hope all is well. I'm calling to see what you thought of the idea of working together. Let me know your thoughts on teaming up, and if the video sparked any interest. And I completely appreciate if it's not something for you. Let me know either way." 

This can be an email, a voicemail, or a live conversation.

Target potential business builders. Spend 90% of your time finding people who you believe need and want a better career and financial path. Finding customers isn't the goal—not because they're not critical to the health of each recruiter's network—but because they're easy to find and a natural part of everyone's life and conversation flow—just listen for when people mention ill-health and suggest they try out 2 bottles of Lingzhi, "here you can have what I have in stock at my price, or get a customer account, you'll pay the same as I do."

One at a time, create enough rapport with each potential candidate so that you can communicate some semblance of the following: "not sure if the timing is right for you, but I have a business proposal I want you to look at. Watch this video, and let's talk. It may not be for you, but let's see. Mike, how open are you to ways of earning money outside your teaching career? I've always wanted to work together on a financial project, and I just found it. Watch this video, and let's talk.Barbara. I recall a conversation I had with you way back around '95, where you and I said that we'd never, ever do network marketing again. Well, crack open that head of yours, because you need to look at this. I don't care if you say no. But you need to see why I've changed my mind.

Stay value-focusedValue-focused means approaching each person 100% focused on what the Alphay opportunity can mean for them.

Nobody is offended when you approach them from a true value focused standpoint. The opportunity may not be for them, but they will appreciate you taking the time and effort to share it with them.

The game of life, as with business, is sorting, not convincing. We are all looking for the RIGHT PEOPLE at the RIGHT TIME in their life. You are ethically and honestly offering a value.

The key to your success is sorting. Don't convince. Just sort.

Step 2: Leadership Q&AIntroduce each candidate to the Upline on a live video conference for Q&A

1. Ask your candidate for 2-3 time slots that they are available for a 15 minute video call.

2. Determine the time zone. “Joe can do a call at 4:00pm Central time."

3. Email those times and time zone to your upline team.

4. Upline will email you back - the Zoom video conference link - requirement for the candidate to watch the two compensation plan videos before the call.

5. Send this info to your candidate.

6. Email the Leadership (not the candidate) helpful background such as: - Name and location, and how you know them - Biggest motivation: Money? Team/Fun? Change lives? - Particular skills

7. Be sure that the candidate: - sets up Zoom at least 15 minutes before call to go through audio/video settings - watches the two videos (Comp Plan, and 15% Status Level)

Call OutlineThe Leadership Q&A Call is a video conference call, approximately 30 minutes, that is the next step of the discovery process for both the candidate and the Leadership team.

The Leadership Team is anyone in your upline (sponsor, etc) who is actively involved in helping you build your network.

PurposeThe purpose of the Team Call Q&A is to see if Alphay would be a good fit for the candidate. Also:

- candidate meets the team they would be working with if they came on board.

- Leadership team finds out about candidate.

- candidate finds out who we are.

- candidate expresses any objections, questions, excitement, critiques, doubts, sarcasms, etc.

- Leadership asks a series of questions.

- End call with candidate a Yes, No, or a Maybe.

Call Agenda1. Contact Person introduces the Leadership team, and says something positive about them.

2. Contact Person introduces the candidate.

3. Leadership team asks questions such as: What's your interest in Alphay? What sparked your interest? From the videos you have watched, what resonated with you so far? Why are you currently open to a home-based business?What is your WHY? Are you serious about that?What is your financial goal to fulfill your WHY? What number gets your attention? Extra 2k/month, 5k/month, 20k/month?Did you understand the 15% Status Level? Any questions, concerns?

Note: some of the positive introduction and information can happen before the Team Call call. The contact person can send the Team Call team a few insights about the candidate prior to the call (not copying the candidate), and the contact person can email the candidate about team.

4. Team Call team describes our methodology: we do it differently than most. We focus 90% of our time on finding candidates looking for a better lifestyle. If the candidate decides to come in, this is how we would work with them.

No MLM speak on the Team Call Interview. No use of "sponsor" "upline" etc. Use first names instead of upline, and "contact person" instead of sponsor.

The ultimate purpose of the Team Call Q&A Call is to help the candidate get to one of the three possible decisions: Yes. No. Maybe.

No Gentle probing to see if their NO is solid or more of an unconscious objection that could be answered. No pushing, though. If the candidate is clear this isn't for them, we quickly close the call with a thanks for at least reviewing the video.

There is never a suggestion on the call to try out the products. The Team Call Q&A Call is strictly a professional hiring process. Not a consumer creating process.

After the call, the contact person is welcome to contacting the candidate with, "you should try these products, so you can see what all the excitement is about/ to see why I'm altering my career path to join this team."

MaybeAll Maybes come down to "I need more information."

If the objections, questions, excitement, critiques, doubts, sarcasms, etc. can be handled on the Q&A call, we will do so.

If the information needed requires more time (reading, viewing, thinking about, gathering information), the Leadership team will make suggestions to the contact person to give to the candidate.

Examples:

• questions on: Alphay as a company (tenure, expertise, science, purity, potency, financial stability, global expansion), send facts about Alphay.

• questions on Network Marketing or Alphay products (does it work? legit?), send sample testimonials, 3rd party resources about Network Marketing model.

Keep in mind the following framework. Many people in the Maybe category will be asking:

1. Can I do this? (the Prospect needs to believe they can do it)

2. Performance risk - "It won't work for me."

3. Financial risk - "It'll cost more than it saves or makes"

3. Opportunity risk - "It'll block option B."

4. Social risk - "No one will like it, or me. People will think I'm weird."

5. Personal risk - "I will lose something. I don’t have self confidence. I am shy.”

The Leadership team will ask: " What information do you need from us in order to make a decision?"

Schedule a "Decision Call"

Before hanging up, the Leadership team will ask to schedule a "Decision Call" for the candidate to come back and let the team know if they are a yes or not.

YesIf the candidate is a Yes:

- the place to start is at the 15% Status Level.

- 700BV in ala carte bottles and products. Team can offer suggestions.

- Order is ASAP off the call, done between the sponsor and the candidate.

- The candidate is told the live training schedule so they can get started right away.

- Candidate is told to not contact anyone until they are trained (very important)
